How many Ky teams will be at Cocoa Expo in Fla.

during the Ky Spring Break Week of April 2-6?

ttt

Ashland will be down there that week I'm pretty sure.

Raceland has went in past years/seasons but I haven't heard if they will be there this season for sure. I would think that they will.

Raceland will be making the trip to cocoa beach this year. They are starting to gear up now. Basketball is still holding a couple of players that is not in the mix whether it would be JV or Varsity. Alot has been said as to why do schools go all the way to Florida to play area teams for a week. There is alot to be said for the practice down there. It is also a bonding time for the team and even parents.

North Laurel will be there.

how many teams go to this expo in the nation?

Boyd County will be there...

Apollo and Daviess County are going.

Anyone heard if Greenup County and Russell are going?

Ashland plays Apollo and North Laurel down there.

Ashland plays Apollo and North Laurel down there.

That's a long way to drive to play a team so close to home.

Rockcastle County will be down there....wish I was going too. LOL.

I think Rockcastle County will be playing all Kentucky teams in varsity except one New York City school.

And for those that are questioning why most of the KY schools just play each other down there is because most of the non-KY schools are still in their Spring Training period and can't count games down there on their schedule so they don't treat them the same as if they were countable games.

I know Minnesota teams do this as well as the NY schools but with a small variation. The NY schools must tell their local association which TWO games they're going to count....the problem that this causes is that their opponents don't know this until they show up to the field....if they see the teams in full baseball gear then it's one of their official games, but if they see them in a plain colored top with baseball pants and cleats then they know it's not one they'll be counting. Teams from the state of NY are only allowed to play two games against teams not from NY.
