I think Ashlands down fall was building their team around two players.You build a team around all of your players.You put five players on the floor who will take the shot at any open look.You get the most out of your bence players.And you build for the next year,all year.You keep your gym doors open for those kids who want to get better,and you start building from the ground up not from your two best players down.Maybe next year things will get better and then again maybe they wont.Good Luck to those who move on and More Luck to those who move up.:confused:

We need to remember if its BC, ASHLAND , RUSSELL or who ever,these are just kids who are playing their guts out to get a win. The Eagles and BC played their guts out last night.It just happen to fall Fairviews way last night.And as for the coachs both did everything they could to get their team a win.GOOD LUCK TO THE EAGLES.

:ylsuper: Jeff is not a Head Coach because he is happy doing what he is doing.And it kind of looks like Ashland is not the only team not playing Rosehill. Im not bashing Rosehill I just wanted to know if they had played any other 16th region teams besides BC. Thats all I got to say about that.

Defections or not Jeff can coach 2nd to none in this area.And I said any teams in 16 Region besides BC or any that a high school basketball fan in this area has ever heard of.

REX should get coach of the year and having Jeff Hall on his staff didnt hurt .Can anyone tell me who Rosehill did play or beat in the 16th region besides BC?

:laugh: This game was won good D by Russell. The pg for Russell picked Baldocks pocket twice.And with time ruuning out Russell had that same pg go one on one with Baldock and he made a easy layup to win the game.Ashland JV plays alot of young players they will make turnovers now but give them a year of growing and watch out .

I didnt know Bladock played pg ,I saw them play twice this year and Bowling ran the pg most of the game. And your right (GodisAtomcat) he was lighting it up from 3 pt land.

I did some checking ,the freshman won 19 lost 2. Teams they beat : Ironton,BC,Greenup,Wheelersburg,Springvalley,Rockhill,East and Westcarter,Russell,Sheldon Clark,Rowan Co.
