ZoneBuster23 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 I think Ashlands down fall was building their team around two players. You build a team around all of your players. You put five players on the floor who will take the shot at any open look. You get the most out of your bence players. And you build for the next year, all year. You keep your gym doors open for those kids who want to get better, and you start building from the ground up not from your two best players down.Maybe next year things will get better and then again maybe they wont.Good Luck to those who move on and More Luck to those who move up.
scooterbob Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 I would recommend that you keep the gymnasium doors open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week if you want to compete successfully in the next five years. Even with that, you are probably starting somewhat from behind. AAU has sure changed the scenery around here.
