I dont know if Brown got some foreign exchange students or not. However, they did make the regional tournament for the first time in a long time last year. They have a player Keith Williams who would probably start for any school in Louisville. His little Brother Keiven is won of Fairdale's top freshman.

Got in trouble at the start of his Sr. year. Carlos ended up Playing for Jesuit College in West Virginia and Graduated with a degree. Is now living in Dayton Ohio.

Good Point Gumbo Daddy. Fairdale went back to back for the first time since the Male 70-71 teams did it. I think going back to back puts you in a different category. There have been some good teams that have not been able to repeat since Fairdale's back to back titles. Also, Two freshman that were on the the 91 state champion team led the 94 Fairdale team to their third title in 5 years: Rayshawn Morris and Tony Wales. Morris was the 94 state tournament MVP.

The Second round could have some tough matchups: Waren Central vs E-town Doss vs Male Ballard vs Rose Hill or Washington Dc team Fairdale vs Shelby Co. Providing these teams win.

I dont see the big deal! Basketball playoffs have been done this way for years.

The KOB is done by the local refs from the 6th and 7th Region. They are assigned by the signing secretary Bobby McGrath.

The main problem I have with Coach Brooks is that he only seems to want to win 6 games. In the Courier journal he stated that if they lose against MSU then they only had to win 3 out of their last 4 to be bowl eligble. He has made other comments about how many games they had left to win 6 games. Realisticly no one expects UK to go undefeated, but Brooks should expect to win each and every game not just 6. I realize he came into a tough situation with probation and all and 6 games may be good for this year. However, as long as the UK program only aspires to win 6 games they will always be a mediocre program at best. Im usually not a Rick bozich fan from the courier journal. However, yesterday's article requiring Brooks to beat Georgia or Tennessee and win 7 games and a winning season should be his standard, was right on. Coach Brooks has no signature wins yet. If Vandy can go to Athens and win Then why cant UK?

I personally dont think there is enough bigtime recruits each year in this state to worry about who does the best job. They both have gotten there share of them. Louisville is winning with Florida rejects according to Lee Corso. I hope the rejects from Florida keep coming to UOFL

Tulsa head coach Steve Kragthorpe. Has done a good job rebuilding Tulsa. Currently 5-1 ranked 25th in BCS poll. From what I understand this is Tom Jurich man if Petrino ever leaves UofL.

Fairdale's Jermaine Browns Dunk on a Covington Holmes player in the 1990 finals in Freedom Hall was amazing.

Acccording to extended weather reports in Louisville the temperature is going to drop in the 80's starting Friday. That may help, but Monday through Thursday looks like teams may have to go indoors to practice.

This was not Fairdale's decision. The administration at Fairdale argued for coach Red and even tried to take it to Dr. Daschener. Jonathon will do a good job, but will difinitely need the support from the Fairdale community. The kids will be devastated cause they really liked Coach Red.

Westerns Principal went after coach Wright. Retribution for leaving I guess. All of the so called issues that came up should have been dealt with in November not now. One of the accusations was coach Red ordered from Shively Sporting goods without proper authority. That may be wrong but if it is, then every coach in Jeff. Co. Should be fired. Every coach calls them to send them what they need in a pinch, because Shively will get it to you and bill you later. If coach Red had so many issues, Why did the Board of Education okay him to interview for the Fairdale Job to begin with? This will be Fairdale's 4th coach in 15 months. Adult ego's are bigger than what is best for kids. Good luck Coach Miller. He will have to work hard to earn the kids trust.

I think Male and Ballard will both be in the top 3 in state with Scott Co. Male is more physical than Ballard. Ballard is extremely quick and deep. They are a good shooting team. Ballard played this game without Gowers who is one of the top 3 point shooters in the state and Jonathon Goulson who transfered from Moore. Gowers I heard was on a mission trip with Coach Renner. I think Male is deserving of being the favorite. However, when Ballard gets everyone there I think they are the Best. Male is usually behind early in the regular season due to football's success in the playoffs.

I think it hurts not having out of state teams. However they are still trying to get two from out of state. The KOB should have moved the dates back a week. On paper it could be down. However, Ballard, Male, Warren Central, Doss, and Etown will all be in the top 15. Fairdale will be much improved, and Desales will be solid. I would say Pettigrew from E-town will be leading candidate for Mr. Basketball. Twanny Beckham from Ballard will also be a candidate. PRP opted to go to South Laurel's tournament. The KOB had two teams from Ohio committed. One had a 7 ft' that UK and UL where recruiting. However, could not get out of school. Miami Sr. was coming but could not get out of school. The KOB will have to watch dates and have to move the tournament back.

Actually still needs two teams. KOB is having a hard time getting out of state teams due to dates. Interest and good teams wanted to come but couldnt get out of school to come.
