  1. 44-39 goal tending on Jtown. 2:59 left. TO Sorry about the time on last post. GC is out of TO's
  2. 44-37 GC ball. TO Cavette missed one and one could have cut it to four earlier. 4:00 to go
  3. 42-34 Jtown 6:30 left. GC has the ball. TO
  4. 1977 Ballard beat Valley. I think the two best teams left are J-Town And PRP. Graves Co. style will cause some trouble for J-Town but I think they will prevail. If they both make it to the finals it will start the Class sytem debate all over again.
  5. I know who the official is. I dont want to get into trouble by putting his name on here. He was removed from last nights game with Western and Desales, after getting into a fight or heated discussion with a ref who was supposed to do the next game. They where both escorted out of the Gardens. He was suposed to do the 7th region final. He got some type of restraining order signed by a judge blocking the game or not allowing someone to take his place.
  6. No kidding. The 6th region is playing. last update was PRP 26 Desales 12 in the 2nd period.
  7. Referee evidently got a court order stopping the game tonight. Had something to do with last nights mess. He was removed last night and was not allowed to do tonights game. Supposed to be played Monday night. Unbelievable.
  8. I just hope it don't hurt the Derby Classic. While the McDonald's game will have better players, the Derby Classic always focuses on bringing in UK, UL, and IU recruits. I would rather go watch them play.
  9. I have not seen Somerset play. They have a good record. I will take Beth Haven in an upset.
  10. Its hard to choose the best games that the Sweet 16 has produced cause there are so many classics. Two games that I witnessed outside the sweet 16 was the 1988 smifinal game of LIT at Broadbent Arena between Ballard and Clay Co. Richie Farmer and Allan Houston went back forth the whole game. Clay Co. finally pulled it out in double ot. Ballard would later get revenge beating them in the State finals. The other game was At the Louisville Gardens in 1996 when Fairdale upset OAK Hill led by current Pacer player Stephen Jackson 52-49. Oak Hill had just blown out PRP by 40 the night before and everyone thought they would do the same to Fairdale. Fairdale pulled off a major upset. Not very many teams from KY other than Fairdale have beaten Oak Hill.
  11. They generally play Zone due to lack of size. They will do some trapping out of zone and will press at times. They like to spread the floor, drive and kick out for the three. They will run the Weave out front. They are very patient and will turn their offense over til you relax and they beat you. These kids seem to never tire. They play with a lot of energy. Most teams don't respect them cause they are a small christian school that usually dont have much size. That is the mistake teams make, under estimating Beth Haven. They are by no means a top 20 team but they will play with a lot of heart and passion.
  12. Beth Haven's best players are Brent Lampkin, Corey Lacefield and Spencer Schull. They are usually not very big in size but play with a lot of heart. They are always well coached and will not be intimidated. They like to spread the floor and will shoot a lot of threes. They are not on the 6th region master schedule, so Their best wins may be Louisville Western and North Bullitt.
