  1. Adam Delph poured in 38 for PRP. JaQuan Ransom led Fairdale with 26. Look out for Fairdale freshman Josh Stroud who had 18pts. PRP's experience too much for Fairdale's Youth.
  2. He will have to sit out unless he has a change of address or Manual kicks him out. He then could be eligible at his Home school.
  3. Just has alway played an up tempo style. While at Iroquois they full ct pressed and played man to man. I doubt it has to do with his style of play.
  4. Madison Central was tough. Big, strong, and physical. They are going to be a tough out in the 11th region. Fairdale is young. Got behind but kept playing hard made a late run before running out of gas. Fairdale freshman Josh Stroud had 12 pts. He is going to be a good one.
  5. Is the transfer from Valley Brandon Schoenoff(Spelling) not playing for PRP? I havent seen him in the box score last couple of games. Great win for Holy Cross.
  6. Fairdale star Ceira Ricketts signed with Former UofL coach Tom Collen at Arkansas today. Ricketts noted that Coach Collen has been recruiting her since the 9th grade and she has a lot of respect for him and likes his style of play. Entering her senior year at Fairdale Ceira has 2395 pts, 805 rebounds, 635 steals, and 407 assist. Fairdale returns four starters including Ricketts from last years 6th region runner-up team.
  7. With Football starting later and a bye week basketball needs to stat later. I would like to see the bye week taken out.
  8. This site was created and maintained by Butler assistant coach Steve Vessel
  9. Why not you are comparing common opponents.
  10. Beat Auburn at Auburn. Didnt Auburn just beat Florida?
  11. Just the dates Dec. 26-30. Moved it to after Christmas this year because of schools getting out later.
  12. Jeffersonville, In had to drop out. Couldnt play on Sunday. Berkmar form Ga will replace them. looks like the KOB has gone back to 4 out of state teams this year. Fairdale Male Ballard Trinity Manual Oldham Co. Adair Co. Anderson Co. UHA Rose Hill Christian Madison Central Lex. Henry Clay Berkmar Ga Hillwood, Nashville Tn. Fayette Co., Ga Holy Cross, New Orleans Notes: 6'7 Wesley Witherspoon from Berkmar Hoop Scoops #32 ranked player also voted the summers best defender by Hoop Scoop 6'9 Brandon Moore from New Orleans has scholarship offers from both UK & UL 6'7 Soph Noel Johnson from Fayette Co. is being recruited by both UK & UL
  13. From Rivals.com Notre Dame's recruit ratings. 02 18 recruits 12 four stars or better 03 21 recruits 7 four stars or better 04 16 recruits 2 four stars or better 05 15 recruits 2 four stars or better 06 24 recruits 10 four stars or better 07 18 recruits 13 four stars or better 08 19 recruits 15 four stars or better Not sure how much stock people put into ratings, but according to rivals Weis is getting better players.
  14. Go Dawgs, I mean Bulldogs, Go Fairdale. Its a long shot I know but its nice to know we have a chance against a great program like Male. 26-24 Fairdale.
  15. Wasn't Much of a game. Fairdale scored 6tds to B/C 0. Not sure of Exact score due to Fairdale's Missed XP attempts. Fairdale's passing game led by QB Jordan Mills looks solid. Mills has a cannon. Whats up with B/C's Facilities. One of the worst kept stadiums I have seen.
  16. Fairdale will have to grow up fast. They will have to replace 7 Sr's off of last years 24-8 team that won the 6th region. Leading the way for Fairdale will be SR Ja'Quan Ransom. Ransom is one of the top 3 pt shooters in the state and had solid summer. Ransom scored 12 pts in Fairdale's 1st rd loss to South Laurel in State tournament. Fairdale could start 4 Jr's to go a long with Ransom. They are talented but inexperienced. Jr CJ Mack will run the point(out all summer with torn Cartilage). Other top Jr's: 6'2 Roderick Ballard, 6'6 Jake Fahringer, 5'11 Bryan Lewis. Ballard is a scoring machine. Fairdale also has some solid Sophs who will contribute: 6'1 Quintrill Morris(Son Of former Fairdale star Maurice Morris), 5'11 Keiven Williams, 6'2 Chris Biven, 6'0 Anthony Claypool. Expect 6'3 Fr Josh Stroud to possibly work his way into the starting lineup. Fairdale is talented but young and inexperienced.
  17. According to an article in the Indystar.com, Indiana's attendance to the game has steadily declined. 7,500 in 2005, 6,246 in 2006, and as of midday Friday an estimated 4,750 tickets for this year. This was a good article on the interest of the game from both sides. Sorry dont know how to provide a link.
  18. Fairdale struggled without several players going 0-4. They were missing four starters the first day and lost by 1 and 3. (Bowling Green, Lex Lafayette). Played mostly with JV players except JaQuan Ransom. Ransom kept Fairdale in the games by himself. CJ Mack is out for the summer with a torn Cartilage, two starters attending Summer school and coach Longacre would not let them miss even though they are aloud to miss one day. They have a nice group of sophs and Jr's but will be very young and inexperienced.
  19. Proffit had the same problem the rest of the point guards from ky had. He tried to go one on one too much and force up shots. He really looked a step too slow vs Indiana's guards. One three he hit was a bank shot from the top of the key. Too much penetration from the point and nobody getting back.
  20. I thought this was the high school division of the State AAU. Unless this is a new school, shouldn't the Ky homeschoolers have played in the all star division?
  21. 1. Ind 2. No 3. Pettigrew 4. Benock 5. Beckham TB 6
  22. According to the courier-journal UofL signee Preston Knowles missed curfew and has been dismissed from the team. He said he had to take care of personal problems at home. He could return for the next game. This is a big loss for the team.
