PRPpride, Just a note to let you know PRP is not in KOB this year. They are going to South Laurels tournament. Who where the three starters missing? I know Murray is out due to torn ACL, and Cox played in Baseball state. The panthers will still be the team to beat in the 6th due to 3 straight region wins.

The boys lockeroom is the same. Pretty awesome. However, Im not sure about first class since the school was put on probation.

He played his first game with Ohio Co. against Fairdale at Meade Co. Yesterday. He has been granted another year of eligiblility after being in a terrible car wreck. I overheard his coach saying that he had over 27 fractures in his face. He looked pretty good in the game. However, he was obviously out of shape and had to be subbed frequently. How will this change the rankings in this region?

Im not a PRP fan, but I'll take the Panthers. They have no weaknesses in their line up. One of the best hitting PRP teams in a long time. I dont know much about Boyd this year, but they better have good pitching cause the Ridge will pound the ball.

I saw them lose a close one to Manual. They are not as athletic as last year. Coleman wasn't very aggressive and Basey showed some attitude and the coach benched him. Coach Morrow was on him hard during the Manual game about his attitude. Losing Ware and Easley is hard to replace. Ware to me was the heart and soul of that team. He did a lot of the dirty work. They will still compete for the 7th region crown. Ballard to me is the favorite.

Final four is Ballard, Fairdale, Butler, and Manual. Ballard beat Fairdale and Manual and Butler where tied late.

I see only two Louisville Schools in it this year. I think the low turnout from Louisville has more to do with travel time than anything else. There are games closer to Louisville. The Frankfort event being on of them. Since the Move to lexington it seems like the number of Louisville schools in state AAU has dropped each year.

Jacob Jenkins played well for Manual in a win over Central. There were earlier rumors that he might be transferring to Central. Central is very talented but young.

I think 44-34 Fairdale over Male 46-45. Male played without Beaumont(Football at UofL) Manual over Central by 2 53-51 PRP beat Breck Co after trailing most of game PRP over Male by 10. I did not see the game PRP over Gallatin Co. PRP Has two kids still in Baseball and Their big Soph Alan Murray has a torn ACL

In Jefferson co. A job opening has to be posted for two weeks. I believe at least 3 candidates if available have to be interviewed.

There where 40 kids invited to try out and Miller and Dunaway did not show up.

Couldnt be any further from the truth. From talking to some of the coaches, they picked the team down to a certain number and Then coach Riley and his staff will finalize it. From What ive heard there will be some surprises in both who makes the team and who don't.

I have heard that Desales Coach Chris Stobaugh told his players he was not returning. May have something to do with him not being a teacher. Has anyone else heard this to confirm it?
