Sometimes scheduling CANNOT avoid these games due to teams either being in your conference or district. I for one do not know if either of these scenarios is true for these two teams.

:creepy: It's the new laws regarding the feeder schools...supposedly, students will have to pick their HS before they enter middle school. If they switch schools without moving into the new school's district, then they lose a year's eligibility...For example, if I went to RA Jones, then I would be required to attend Boone, unless I moved. If I transferred to Dixie, then I'd have to sit out my frosh year. I am pretty sure this will be the new rules. Are there any experts out there in KHSAA law land that can help me out here?

this is the last year that will work...starting next year, the player will be ruled ineligible to participate for one year I believe...

Lloyd actually led after a quarter. HHS went up 3 at half. Lloyd took a lead briefly in the second half, but HHS bench was too deep. HHS by double figures. Maybe 16?

You are allowed to play scrimmages as long as they're not during the dead period. After the dead period, coaches are not allowed being around their players with a ball involved. You can condition, weight lift, etc... I am pretty sure this is the way it works. Most teams just agree to play each other over the summer using coaches as the refs.

How do they base these rankings? I just looked at the ninth region, and there is a team on there that doesn't exist, as well as a team that is ranked below 4 teams that they beat. ???
