What is everyones thoughts on who will come out of the 9th this year?

I think NCC probably will be the favorite to win it, but I look at Ludlow as a team that maybe can suprise some people and pull it off. I know IMO there is a good chance it will be a NCC vs. Ludlow final this year...

Most likely an NCC vs Ludlow final and a repeat of the semifinal outcome last year.

 

St. Henry could surprise on their home floor in the top bracket. In the bottom maybe Bellevue could pull the upset.

I would think that either Ludlow or Bellevue will play NCC in the final with NCC making the trip to Richmond.

Man, if NCC doesn't walk through this region, something is really really wrong. Sure Ludlow is pretty good but they should not be able to hang with NCC with all the talent they have. It is NCC's tournament to lose. But this may be Ludlow's best shot at ever winning any ALL 'A'. Ludlow's weak schedule however will be their downfall. They can't hang with the big boys.

Ludlow does have some talent but they may still have a problem getting over the hump because if they meet NCC in the final it will be the same NCC team they played last year (NCC had no Seniors last year) plus NCC added two of the best Frosh in the region. That's not impossible to overcome but it is a tough task. Long way to Saturday night for both teams though.

Battle of the big girls in the second game, I go w/Mindy Merit on my team. Her points were scored mainly while Hassloch was in the game and Hassloch's were mainly scored while Merit was watching towards the end. Both girls have very nice looking shots w/a soft touch.

How much did NCC beat Villa by? And I hope your right about St. Henry suprising people, I know I hoping they somehow beat NCC, because I know Ludlow has already beat St.Henry at St.Henry so I would much rather Ludlow play them in the finals than NCC if Ludlow gets to the finals..

I wasn't there but I would love to hear what happened in the Ludlow/Bellevue game. Ludlow gets no respect according to their fans but lose to Bellevue, who I think is pretty good for the small schools. They are real good inside w/Merrit, second to only Dickman at the post position, IMO. They have guards who are dangerous when hot from 3 point land. Watch out NCC!

Why should Ludlow have won this game? Ludlow, nor many teams in NKY, have an answer for Merrit and the guards do pretty good against the same level of talent. I would have bet on Bellevue and took the points they would have been getting in this game.

 

It is the same old story w/Ludlow, who have they played this yr? They are very talented and athletic against the small schools and beat Scott/Dixie who let's face it, are struggling this yr against everybody.
