I only know one result of this tournament so far and that had Ludlow beating NCC 35 to 31. So if anyone else would know any of the other results from this tournament, I would greatly appreciate it if you let me know...

Highlands and NDA meet in finals tomorrow 2:15 at Dixie. Highlands got by a very talented Conner team 35-31. NDA squeaks by Boone by 2. Should be a good one tomorrow as Highlands beat NDA in the Scott tournament and NDA got revenge at NDA a couple of weeks ago. That is the only blemish on the Birds 24-1 record.

I know Highlands will be missing one of its key players but I am sure Ava will step up and play an awesome game for Highlands. She is only a sixth grader watch out for her in the future. She hit a key 3 pointer in the Conner game.

No not at all....just stating a fact. Besides the other guard, Ava will step up to the goal.

Its not an excuse, it reality. Ally Connor is by far the best penetrating point guard in frosh basketball. Without her yesterday it pretty much told the story of the final score. Not taking anything away from Conner, they played an awesome game, but without Ally's leadership on the floor and her zone penetrating attack the Birds simply were one dimensional with points hard to come by due to Conner's great play. Lets sort of put this into perspective, HHS without Ally, Colts without Peyton. Pretty good analogy imo.

HHS is down to 7 players. Believe me these girls will come out today and give NDA all they can handle. Remember HHS still has the best post player, the best 2 guard and the best shut down defender in the region on the floor today. I think they have a chance and their will be no excuses. If NDA wins it will because they played a better game.

NDA wins the tournament today in a hard fought battle with the LadyBirds. Congrats to Ahern and Bressler from HHS for making all tournament team.

Congrats to the NDA Pandas for a nice victory against a very talented Highlands team. And the JV team for it's Victory over Conner.
