Spring/Summer Leagues

Do most of the Varsity teams in Northern Ky also play together in the spring/summer. If so what league and where are games usually played? Is this a good thing to do or not?!

No one associated with the HS program in the form of a paid or volunteer coach, the boys coaches or the AD can coach them in this league.

Nor do I think they can wear any of the equipment of the school but I could be mistaken here.

A parent, MS coach, volunteer that did not help out at the HS level, can coach.

Sports of all Sorts has a good program.

You are allowed to play scrimmages as long as they're not during the dead period. After the dead period, coaches are not allowed being around their players with a ball involved. You can condition, weight lift, etc... I am pretty sure this is the way it works. Most teams just agree to play each other over the summer using coaches as the refs.

Let me preface that my comments about the coaches were aimed at spring leagues that would run while school is in session.

HC is correct for the summer.
