Are you talking about Devon Beasley(Conner)? Katie Allen, and Courtney Sandfoss would be the most notiable freshman that have already proven they are/will be great players. Towles and Cutter, the potential is definetly there.

No there is actually a player at Highlands named Devin Bressler. I'd have to say that Katie Allen is the best freshman in the area.

Not yet! Katie has a yr. of V experience under her belt. I think Sandfoss is more of a point guard where Katie is better at the 2 position. Katie has a beautiful shot.

No. Should see Beasley Monday when the Birds Frosh play Beasley and the Cougars. Also # 22 NDA frosh Ammerman is very good

Sandfoss impressed tonight in the 9th region ALL A final. Her shot looked nice and she is a great slasher.

Is Highlands the only team w/underclassman or are the only people on the girl's site from Highlands? Sounds like a lot of talent for only 5 starting positions, will they all be happy w/playing time and sitting when the time comes?

I simply stated that the 4 8th graders playing up were good. Allie would be one of thsoe 8th graders. Allie played a good amount of minutes in the JV game against Villa yesterday.

I know NCC is playing some 8th graders on the Frosh. They may be the only pariochal school doing so. Yes a lot of talent for the Birds. Next year they will be good. The couple of years after that they will be very strong. I think a coach would be happy to have the problem coach Richey will have.:dancingpa

Agree with this statement. Have no personal interest in any of these teams but have been reading for a year now about all the talented young players at Highlands. So far they are still potentially good players. The real question is will they develop into very good players. As mentioned only 5 can play at a time, and if there is really as much talent as this site seems to imply some people aren't going to be happy with playing time down the road.
