  1. Ludlow started out 11-3, and Lloyd led by only 3 at halftime. Lloyd's full court press gave Ludlow trouble, and it seemed the Juggs were far more conditioned in the end. 2. The winners from Friday were Anderson County, Whitefield Academy, St. Henry, Lexington Christian, and Holmes. On Saturday, West Jessamine, Lloyd, Clinton County, Jackson County, Highlands, Southwestern, Butler, Woodford County, Corbin, Scott County, and Ballard won their games.
  3. I saw that West Jessamine beat Beechwood, Lloyd Memorial beat Doss, and Trimble beat Clinton, Scott County beat Sacred Heart, any others???
  4. thanks for the clarification, I was just browsing the website and noticed it. By chance do you have any of the other results from the other games at the Hoopfest?
  5. they're ranked #23 in the nation in the USA TODAY poll...Gray has signed with UNC...
  6. How much will she miss and will this effect the team chemistry at all?
  7. As for Sneed, she needs to start getting state honors and state attention. I have seen Rebecca Gray of Scott County play, along with Novosel from Lex Cath, and Tamara can play right with them.
  8. I don't think we can question their strength of schedule. They play in division II of the NKAC, which pits them against NCC, Holy Cross, Highlands, Brossart, Newport, and St. Henry. Oh well, I'd say that helps, along with Dixie being in their district. I guess it would come down to how you play against those teams.
  9. What will happen to HC after the transfer? How far are they expected to fall? Also, why is Tabitha Lockard not in the top 10 players? She was the 3rd leading scorer as a junior last season behind Lantry and Sneed. Just wondering. Also, where can you find a Cats Pause? Thanks. I was referring to the 9th region rankings in my quote, I just grabbed the wrong quote. Sorry for the confusion.

  11. I believe they have to play because of their conferences? Or do they just choose to play each other?
  12. Lloyd will not go down without a fight, but they just seem so small out there on the field compared to what they've had in the past. Coach Lucas will have the Juggs ready for a battle. Scott sees another close game. Can't call this one though. Too close.
  13. The KYPOST reported yesterday that Jeff Hans will be the new girls coach.
  14. Well, since no one else will say it, I will say that I like Ryle's chances! A lot of heart and desire, GO RAIDERS! haha
  15. I know the Raiders will be playing with heavy hearts from here on out...one game at a time, and win it for your principal! GOOD LUCK RAIDERS!
  16. what was also ridiculous was the times of the games...it was way too hot for some of these kids to be out there at 1...it would have been nice to see a stagger, but who knows...
  17. From what I have heard, Villa has beaten Lloyd twice this season. Not sure what the exact outcomes are, but I am sure Villa will be the heavy favorite tonight.
  18. Young team with a veteran pitcher on the mound tonight for the Juggs. Sophomore Matt Gregory led off the 8th with a basehit, and then senior Patrick Ryan bunted and was safe at first with a head first slide. Sophomore Kaleb Downey then came up and hit an opposite field single down the first base line to plate 2 runs and the Juggs got the win. Villa's article in the Post today was nice about them winning their first ever district game. Could there be a title as well? I know they've beaten the Juggs at least twice this season. Lloyd is an emotional team, but if Moore can keep them focused, this could be another exciting game to watch at the campus of VMA. Very nice facilities there as well! Good luck to both teams tomorrow!
  19. Scott has built themselves up from the bottom. They are young and definitely the team to beat next year.
  20. 8 teams in the state tournament and 20 in the regionals(4 regions - 5 teams each).
