I was at the Lex Cath game last year and they brought a really good following their student section was up and cheering the whole game, and their fans were scattered through the whole stadium instead of combined to the small section

I believe the ball was knocked out of bounds on us, or we fouled a guy and the inbounder actually took a side step with both feet.

I still think Highlands and Holmes are the two teams to beat, we will get a preview on Feb 7th, however coach willie will sure has his boys ready for the tourney with battles against Bryan Staion, Holmes, Pendleton, and BB all this month.

After seeing the Scott play on Tues, I'm going to say the CATS by 25...bank on it

I too agree that Augusta is one of the worst. It has the five rows on the floor and the balcony setup, i believe two corners of the gym have about 3 feet between the wall and the 3 point line

the JV it looks like got waxed by the Scott JV.... I don't know if you saw any of the JV game against Scott but it may be the worst officiated game i have ever seen.......We should have lost by maybe 6 at the most. The officials clearly were new or never officiated before...two times a scott player was tied up for a jump or turned the ball over and the refs called a time out for them. They missed two traveling on the inbounds pass and at thye end of the game we let the ball roll out so time could expire - both coaches were walking to shake hands and they blew their whistle to stop the clock with .3 seconds on the clock, granted our jv isn't great, but we will have simpson back next year and mcgraw, not to mention good size in Wise and Kruse

Vories came out during the first five minutes of the 2nd half and was playing with Scott, he could when he wanted, and his first step and cross over were lethal, I think he had 12 or 13 in the 3rd Q, and did you see the around the world pass assist in the fourth, this kid truly has fun playing th game and is a competitor

She didn't go to PC, Pat transferred in last year as a junior, not sure where they came from I think it may have been Jackson County- a lot of Pendleton Countians wish Sarah had played there

A buddy and I can;t agree on something - does anyone know if these two played together at Rose Hill for a couple years? To answer the question I think OJ is a sensational athlete, while Walker has the potential to be. I don't think OJ is as ready as LeBron was his junior year, but he may be after his college season. If a coach(Huggs) can get three years out of Walker he may be just as good as Mayo on the next level

they scored 8 points, coach willie was shufflimg guys in and out to try and find the right combo, ben forced his first three shots, they were missing second and third ops at the basket, they just weren't in rythm, they didn't really hit their stride until about the 5 min mark of the 2nd quater. Tanner had a good first half and was really solid

Birds had a sluggish first half, Tanner played really strong, Vories must have been in doghouse for something he didn't start and didn't really get going until 2nd half. BenG played a really good well tempered game, he let it come to him tonight. Had all cylinders been clicking from the start birds would've won by 25

I am very fond of the 98 semifinal between Scott County and Lex Cath, Rick Jones had a great tourney and actually hit the game winner a deep three for this game. I lived in Lexington at the time and you could actually feel the life of the lex cath and Danny Haney sucked out of Rupp, it was awesome

Hopefully the 10th will draw 14th or 16th

I think anybody who is willing to commentate for a high school game is great. Those guys are all a dying breed, I know there are several times I would love to see a matchup, but can't go(two small kids) and can't find the broadcast anywhere. I commend brossart for having a link to broadcast on thier website, i wish more folks would give their time for the youth and and be eyes in the gym for us who can't see every game.

This two teams always get the best out of each other and usaully are two of the most athletic teams also, i just hope the battle continues for many years to come - this is a very fun rivally to watch - GO BIRDS

I always enjoy it when Ballard goes to state tourney and there whole cheering section stands up to sing thier school song, they have a lot of rythem and the song has a good beat to it
