A Trend For 2 NKY Teams This Year

Featured Replies

I'm seeing a pattern in sports with Covington Catholic and Highlands this year in all head to head sports. While this is always a heated rivalry in every sport, so far the numbers have been a little closer than in recent memory.

Soccer

Round 1... Highlands up 2 goals at halftime... CCH puts in 2 goals in the last 5 minutes to tie 2-2.

Round 2... Highlands up 1 at half, CCH scores with 18 mins left and puts in the game winner with 48 seconds left in the game

Football

CCH up and Highlands ties the game and throws a half field bomb to win with very little time left.

Basketball

Game is tied and Vories hits the game winner with 6 seconds remaining.

All 4 of these games have all been nail biters.

looks like Highlands has the upper hand.
