Come on guy's who do you think does the best job at calling high school basketball games. My vote goes to John Doug Miller the voice of the Paintsville Tigers. He keeps you involved and he always keeps you aware of the score.

Agreed, Schabell does an excellent job. :thumb:

I'm a Rose Hiller but I still think Dicky Martin of Ashland is the best in the state. He is a partisan and he clearly doesn't like my school. Nonetheless, his knowledge and skill are top notch.

Danny Weddle hands down.WFTM Maysville.

Roger "The Hit Man" Hibbard & Perry "Lightning" Thompson :ylsuper:

Dave King of 107.3 does a good job for the Corbin Redhounds, enjoy his call of games.

I think anybody who is willing to commentate for a high school game is great. Those guys are all a dying breed, I know there are several times I would love to see a matchup, but can't go(two small kids) and can't find the broadcast anywhere. I commend brossart for having a link to broadcast on thier website, i wish more folks would give their time for the youth and and be eyes in the gym for us who can't see every game.

Has to be the crew from Marshall County. They do an excellent job not just calling the action, but their preparation for pre-game and outstanding interviews after the game is what really puts them over the top.

Wouldnt know.....South Laurel doesnt have one.

I agree Danny Weddle! :thumb:

John Doug is the man for Paintsville games. He does a great job.

How about Tim Carper of WUGO? He is a solid play-by-play man.

I would love to donate time and broadcast games. The problem is it is very difficult when you work full time, married, 3 kids, all involved in sports, etc. I enjoy going to games anyway so why not call them....
