Coach Hall is staying the coach at Jackson and i think with the nucleus they are brigning back they will be a contender in the region.:ylsuper: :ylsuper:

I dont think Jackson City will be down this year they return two starters from last years team and arguably the best 6th man i the region last year. They also return two guys that also played alot of minutes off the bench. They will have 4 to 5 seniors next year and 4 to 5 juniors that can all play and they wont be taken lightly in the reigon anymore.

Who do you think will be the top 5 teams in the 14th next year and who do you think could be a sleeper in the region?

The team as well as the school are in familiar ground.The upcoming seniors have had a different coach every year of the high school career.With Lively now gone there is a little cause for concern but the players I have talked to are determined to make it back to where they was last year and to show there old coach he made a bad decision.

Jackson Citywillsurprisea fewpeople as well in the region.They return 5 guys that got alot of playing time last year and they went deep into the post season.Watch out for them this up coming season. Also I think Lee County will have another excellent season under Coach Wright.

Dont count out Jackson city they have two starters returning and some great guys off the bench coming back. They made some noise this year and will have a sour taste in their mouth after losing in the finals i think they can be a top 5 team next year along with Breathitt, Lee, JBS and Hazard. The players I think you got to put Hicks as #1 and then Bailey from perry and stepp from JBS. Fetters from Lee and Gay from buckhorn.

Very boring game i thought although there was some nice plays. Congrats to J-town and Apollo on a good year.

I totally agree i saw Gilbert with one of the players he got in a argument with during the final game. I saw him talking to Watkins and Howard and was shocked when he arrvied at the school, but it does show class.

This year may have been the most unbelivable 14th regional tournament i have seen, ever!!!, the games were awesome but the biggest story in this years tourney. The games they played were great and the heart they showed just made everyone from the school happy to say where they are from. After the Cordia game i was happy for the boys and figured they were gonna come up short against Lelie but they proved me wrong. I about broke down into tears just seeing there remarkable run come to an end. The players gave it all they had and i couldnt be more proud to say im a tiger today. The senior will definitely be missed as with out a doubt this team has been the best to ever play at the school. Way to go tigers and make the school and city of Jackson now be a purple and gold community and get em next year. Go Tigers!!!!:cry:

i think the biggest shocker was Jackson City and Hazard not the final score but the team that made it there. I couldnt believe me Jackson City made it there but i am very proud of the tigers.

Jackson City will return two starters next year along with there sixth man who could be considered the best sixth man in the region. I thought this game was the best I have seen in a long time. Both teams showed class and the players were very respectful to each other as i saw several JCS players shaking hands outside with Leslie players. I thought when ever Howard went down the game had Leslie win written all over it but Kilburn stepped up huge. GO get em Tigers bring this baby home.:ylsuper: :ylsuper:

Jackson City is WYMT's team of the week as they have not only won there first district title in 72 years but also won their first regional tournament game since 1984 so i couldnt agree more in saying they are the team of the week and i can wait til they prove everybody wrong like i know they can when they beat Leslie on friday.... You could say that and you would be wrong i mean Fugate from jackson didnt have an all around good scoring game and the tigers still came out on top. Im so proud of the tigers they played great tonight and im so proud of them. 55 from jackson dont know his name but he scored alot for the tigers in the second and I think Watkins and Davidson stepped up huge. Watkins made some amazing shots and Davidson though plauged with foul trouble played great defense in the final frame. howard hit some big shots to presrve the tigers lead. It was an all around team game with alot of T's and personals. Great Job tigers im so proud good luck in the region.

i hope the tigers come out on top. Alot of the smaller schools have been winning the past games in the other districts such as Lee,hazard and cordia and even though Wolfe is not big they are bigger than Jackson City and i love the smaller schools so i hope the tigers do make history and win there first title in 72 years.

Last night against Riverside Howard needed 14 points to reach 1000 for his career and in the third quarter he got it. Congrats Kyle and Good Luck to you and the rest of your tiger team. :ylsuper:

Pretty good game thought the tigers pulled this one out but they just seemed to let another one go. There were some bad calls but they still played good enough to win. Howard had another good game as did Fugate. Kilburn grabbed quite of few boards but not alot of help from the other players. Davidson and Watkins threw there bodys all over the floor and had to come out of the game a few times do to pain but all in all i think next time these two teams play if they do the score will be differet and maybe in Jacksons favor.

Jackson city goes to PCC Friday night who come out on top.

It was an excellent game as Howard and Fugate led there team to a big win at home. Buckhorn shot the lights out but the tigers hung in and had excellent team work once again. Thompson, Watkins and Davidson stepped up big eith the tigers only big man(kilburn) in foul trouble, The three got big rebounds and hit there free throws along with fugate at the end to seal the tigers a ten point win.
