I'd like to say Estill, but they can't get past Lee. In my book, Lee is the favorite, but if we can get out of the district, we will make noise in the region.

I just hope if its true people don't give him a hard time about it. To me he has been treated poorly by Owsley. But thats my opinion. Whatever the case I wish him well.

I don't think they should completley overlook Owsley, but I would also try to focus as much as possible on saving energy while beating a bad team. I know we will have problems with Powell's size and their bench. What will Lee have trouble with on Owsley's team? We have established that OC can't match up with Lee. Fetters can shut down Robert Smith, no one can shut down Tyler Rich. I can not fathom a Owsely win in this situation, especialy with Lee being so good at home this year. Just my opinion but like I said, I would love to have Owsley as my first round game.

The 15th is the weakest IMO bc the 14th has owned them. Now, that being said, the 14th is the second weakest. Sad fact of life. :( the 11th is pretty good.

Not to be mean here but lets let this die. Come on. If its true, we will know soon enough. If it isn't true this could cause trouble for him and his teamates. You can bet that the players read this forum so we shouldn't put things like this on unless it has already been confirmed. He is just a kid and we should not create more problems for him and this team than already there. Come on, give it a rest. We should know tonight.

Not this again. Why should they not look past Owsley? Do they pose any threat? They have beaten them twice with Smith and once without. I don't see any reason to be worried. I was upset more that we didn't get to face Owsley in the first round and pretty much get a bye than the fact we lost the game.

Ok....I am not trying to be a wiseguy here, but what does Robert have to do with this thread. Thats what we get so upset about. This thread is about Neeley quiting the team and you talk about Roberts finger.

I would take it easy and rest as much as possible.

It may have been. He did signal 30 second time out though and then conferred witht the other officials. Maybe he got his signal mixed there. It happens.

I would hope South shows class here. Why not let your JV get plenty of tournament experience.

Actually badcat, the other Estill and Owsley games Lee won were in tournaments so therefore don't count as district games, but I think I know what you mean. This was a good game. I really thought my boys would win, and we were up at the half. I didn't get to the game until right before tipoff and didn't get to talk to any of the players but to me, Dixon looked like he didnt feel well. His first step was slower than normal. The Bobcats played good D. One thing that bothered me was when we were coming back and we had a good defensive stand going, the ref stopped the game signaling a time out for Lee that they never called. He signaled "30 Second" by putting his hands on his shoulders and then I guess realized Coach Wright didnt want one. But that is not the reason we lost. We rebounded poorly toward the end of the game and didn't keep our intensity up. Lee is fortunate to play Owsley again while we will have a tough time with Powell. I hope we meet in the finals Bobcats for another hard fought game.

I love Jackson City and Coach Lively and the job he has done this year. Just stating what I saw. To me and others sitting around me at the game thats what it looked like. I am not trying to offend you Roundleather. Sorry if I did. But like I said, I wish JC well this year and in the future and am happy to be in their region now. BTW, that was a nice play on words with my name. I never thought of that. :thumb: I hope we are still buds
