Lee, Wolfe, Owsley, and Buckhorn are left. I decided to go to this game last night rather than watch Lee/Jenkins and I was glad I did! I really like this team OC has, although Smith get way to much love on this forum in just 5 or 6 games of work. But, anyway, I though Congleton played good D and the wholoe JBS team looked very weary and tired on Defense IMO. They held the score down and stayed in the game, but if Owsley shot better, it would have been a loss for JBS by 8 or 10 I think. By the way, In My Opinion, you've been very quiet about this thread. Its so funny how you told ol Prof not to underestimate Collins or it would come back to bite him and how you said OCHS's big man couldn't handle him. Looks like you were the one bitten by underestimation here my friend as the block at the end of the game was the play of the year for the Owls. And, no, he was not fouled. Good block

Thats the point I was trying to make earlier. No doubt Lee is deeper than JBS, and NO DOUBT that Lee is deeper than OCHS. They will have trouble matching up as they did in both games earlier IMO. So if you shut down one player, another, like Johnson at JC, will step it up. I think this game will be close, but lee will pull away at the end.

Lee County will win this game by 15. Too many Bobcats. I know you are gonna say all this hoopla about Smith, but fact is Caleb Fetters will eat him alive defensively. Mark my words here folks. Lee will win this game.

Well, last time I checked, Breathitt is still 2 and 15. Yes they beat Leslie, but this is more of an exception than a rule here on their season. JBS has played a pretty weak schedule IMO, with a couple of hard games against PCC and Henry Clay and 1 or 2 others. THey have only played 4 teams with an above .500 record. In fact the the teams they have beaten average a 6-10 record. Weak if you ask me. OK, In My Opinion, bring it on. Lets hear how good they are and how these teams they play could be NBA teams or whatever crazy reasoning you will throw at us here.

Just got home a little bit ago and, BOY WHAT A GAME! I thought the referees did a great job and really let the boys play. They tried to keep the game going and let both teams play their kind of basketball IMO. Lee had several layups after beating the press. Brandenburg played well, though didnt hit the scorebook hard, he did make a lot of plays, as did tyler rich. I thought that some of JC's fans were a little too rowdy at times and I think there were some arguements or something...saw the police in the stands. Dont know why though. Good game. I got there really early and still almost had to go to the lunchroom. Wouldve been better at a bigger gym IMO, but JC wanted that home court, but it really didn't help. I think the reason Howard was so off was the Great D from Lee. They played well and just need to work on those FT's! I bet they shoot some extras at practice tomorrow! Good game and, boy, if you didnt go, you missed a classic. Lee looks to be back on track. I thought JC hung in there very well and didnt give up. Nice win and good job to all involved in this game.

Ah, I've been waiting for a rebuttle from In My Opinion. Flash, don't you know that you can not dis JBS in any way shape or form. Man, I thought you would know that by now. Just kidding.

Well, its not legal to do it before the refs come out. The refs cant penalize what they dont see.

You are right, no one team is the clear #1 right now. It seems like this region is full of #2 teams. Big wins marred by weird losses for a lot of teams.

Because of seeding, and because of the teams usually being so close, I will have to say that the 56th is the hardest for a team to get out of.

Well, Mr Eagle Man, I would put PCC or Hazard or JBS before Leslie. What is PCC's worst loss this year...JBS. JBS has a stellar record this year. HMMMM, I wonder how many people that live outside of Leslie would agree with me...probably everyone. Oh, and by the way, I was picking up on the sarcasm in your little post there buddy. See, I am an objective poster. I am from Estill Co. I bleed blue, but you don't see me putting my team #1. Why? Because they aren't the best and I don't kid myself. If you want to live in dream world, go ahead...but, um, you just lost to Breathitt County.

At Leslie. Man, this is such an upset. All we have heard from Leslie fans is how little respect they get and how they play a tough schedule and we should put them #1. Losses like this show how inconsistant they are. Good win Breathitt.

No because of the poor early season play of Powell and Owsley. Sad really...but we just have to make them know. Good game though, you are correct. If we win in Beattyville by 4 or more, we take the #1 spot in the district.

Thats what it should mean if posts about Lee losing at KCC are indication. Someone said that losing at KCC meant that there should be no talk of Lee in the top 10, but now the same case could be made for Leslie after losing at home to one of the 3 WORST teams in the 14th. (W-L wise)

This should end any talk of Leslie being tops in the region.

Upset of the year. Taking nothing away from Breathitt, but they had only 1 win before this i believe. WOW!! Anyone can beat anyone.
