The game of basketball has changed and has passed up 2 man crews. A 3 man crew is needed becase of many reasons, quiker ball movement, more sophistocated plays...etc...

Its only Owsley fans that see him as the number one in the region, whereas most others see Cody Gilbert as the best. Smith isn't as good as either Dixon or Berryman from Estill.

Congrats Bobcats. A very classy team. The Lee County team and fans gave Buckhorn a standing O for the effort they displayed and for making it that far. Lee played well but does need to hit free throws.

Boy, this will be a physical game tonight I think.

We have heard this all season. They have trouble playin together. GIMME A BREAK HERE. You owsley co fans are a bunch of babies if you ask me. Look, this kid every time ive seen him has had such a chip on his shoulder. THE BEST PLAYER ON THE FLOOR MOST OF THE TIME?!?!?!?!? Are you CRAZY!?!?!?!? No way. He has trouble being the best player at practice...was he the best player on the floor last night? Don't think so. Get over him. I wish him well, but hate to see him ruin a team by being such an individualist. Owsley is better off in the long run without him....especialy the damage he will do to next years team right now. Those players need to learn to play ball b/c the Savior won't be there next year.

Sounded to me like Owsley just couldn't play TEAM ball, rather they played SMITH ball. IMO. They better figure out quick that they must play as a team to win. No more of this Smith and Neeley only.

I can't go against Lee in this one. Too many Bobcats. Buckhorn is a good team, but they have little defense. Lee has great offense and great D. Look for a 9 point Lee County win.

No doubt. Wolfe Co is playing a little better (beat Hazard) but I must say that they are gonna have to stop being such a 1 man show.

I listened to this game on the radio and, well, reception was shoddy for me, but, ahem, Learker let me ask you this; was this when it counted or do you still give Lee County no credit. This game was never in doubt. Owsley cannot match up with the Bobcats. Every starter scored for the bobcats and Owsley had only 1 player over 9. I hate to be like this, I really do, but I TOLD YOU SO!! j/k Now, that being said, congratulations to Owsley for beating a very good JBS team and at least getting to the semis. I have seen drastic improvement in your team. But, I just think Lee has your number this year. Keep your heads up though.

Well, I'll say this; June Buchanan is NOT as good as they are hyped up to be. They are good...but not that good. Watching this game opened up my eyes. JBS is a good school and a good story so far, but they are surely pretenders, not contenders.

Garrad is having a tough go at it so far only winning 2 games. I will go with Estill by 10+.

Yeah, the Stepps take care of their own...and thats about it. I think that this team is built around the premise of getting all the hype and credit to one player. Was the same way last year too. What happens when you shut him down? Look at the title of this thread to find out. They lose to one of the bottom 4 teams in the region.

I really like both these teams and its good for our district to be represented so well. I just think Lee is a better team. Either way, the 56th is going to the finals. If Lee brings their A game and Owsley brings their A game, Lee will win no doubt, but if OCHS plays well and Lee is not hitting anything, OCHS has a chance.

Good game Lee Co. Looks like we may have to be postponing our date to decide the #1 in the district if you make it to Richmond.
