Buckhorn ran into the same defense that Owsley saw the night before.

 

Lee may have the best team in overall region, and could possibly be heading to Rupp in March.

Lee County played a near perfect game. The only flaw is the baffling inability to hit free throws. Buckhorn scoring 56 fewer points than the night before tells the story on the defense. Rich and Fetters dominate inside, Brandenburg ran the offense perfectly, twins outside threat keeps Buckhorn defense honest, deep bench wore Wildcats down. Its been a long time baby, BUT THE BOBCATS ARE BACK.

We will alll be there Thursday 9.30 pm against Bishop Brossart. The Bobcats are playing tough defense right now and could make some noise in the all a.

We just have to take it one game at a time and the first test is very tough one. We will need to play our best to be in contention against a very good Brossart team from the tenth region.

Yes this is going to be a great match up. Brossart is a power house when it comes to the All "A"!

Does anyone know how big Brossart is this year?

Congrats Bobcats. A very classy team. The Lee County team and fans gave Buckhorn a standing O for the effort they displayed and for making it that far. Lee played well but does need to hit free throws.

Bobcats played stifling defense against Buckhorn. I agree Ronnie; they need to start hitting their free throws, but I believe they will. I know Coach has continously worked on this and I believe they will improve. Tyler Rich performed amazingly in the post position, muscling his way against the Buckhorn defenders.

Lee played a great game and took us completely away from our game. However, being within 4 in the second half and having the ball could be considered a serious threat. Of course, Lee got a good stop and gradually stretched things out over the course of the rest of the half.
