Powell gave us a good scare but we won in OT. Dixon & Berryman both played ok and Powell just played good ball. I was suprised, as the players were I think, at how good that they played. Good game to watch.

I'd like to apologize to the Professor publicly for taking his comments too seriously. I dont usually share what people private post me but Prof did write and apologize and let me know he was jabbing at me. I have had a bad day and took his comments too seriously. Prof and I take playful jabs at each other in several posts and I took his comments way out of context. Sorry Professor.

Nice to see you again Mr. Sarcasm, by the way, have you seen the Professor anywhere? Yeah, I was wrong on the points but got the W-L correct here. Owsley is playing well right now and I for one am glad that they are. You see, I was basing my prediction of this game on the 2 times i saw the OC this year, when they faced Estill, and well, they looked terrible. But, if you want to call me out and try to make me look stupid because I got the points wrong, well, I could easily do a search on this forum and check out how many times the Almighty Sage of Booneville has been wrong...I thought we were friendly with each other...geez Prof, when you are treating a 8 point loss to Hazard like a win, maybe you need to realize that you still lost.

Well, they have not lost at home yet i think and all of Lee's losses have come on the road. That being said, I don't know how much that will factor in to this game. I think playing at home makes a team 6 or so points better, not because of officiating, but because of the familiarity of the court and home team support. This gym will be so full...No doubt this is the game to watch in the all A. Anyone who disagrees is wrong...period.

Catholic wins this one. Mason Co has impressed me so far, but I dont see a win for them here.

I think you are right. Both teams have proven a lot so far, but it is this part of the season when people really start looking and scouting for tournament time. I may have to come out to this one.

Thats the thing with HS basketball...you never know one night to the next. Its funny. Lee beat us by only 3 at home and it was a sloppy game. We faced them in the Johnson County tourney and thought, well, we are better than them and should win, and they cleaned our clocks and beat us by 9 (could've been a lot worse, we were lucky). Lee county, IMO, along with Estill, have a true shot at this regional title. Look out for the 56th in the future.

They are a scrappy team. Only lost to JBS by two, and then turned around and lost to Betsey Lane by 4. So go figure.

I think Lee will pull this one out. They have more talent IMO than Jackson City and if they can utilize their bench, they should win....should is the operative word here though. I like Jackson City too. I agree LCBF, this game won't disappoint.

Man, i thought Lee would win this one. Looks like they may need some resting up. They have a tuff road coming up with the likes of Jackson City, Estill, Buckhorn, LCA and others.

Hey, dont you know that only good talk is allowed on this forum about Clay Co or else skinpig will skin you! Man, skin, stop being so defensive about it all. Clay is a good team and we know how you stand, now, let others tell how they feel too.

I am all for seeding. The problem is you have too many schools who will cry about it.

Good win for Lee County here. They stay undefeated in district play I believe.

From what I saw, there may be some creedence to what some of the Lee fans said about Smith and Neeley "fighting" for leadership of this team. Both wanted the ball and only one could have it. But, my, Estill played together and played VERY well. Nice job boys!

I think we have the defense for Smith. I really do. I just hope we play like we can. That's been our problem this year.

The Estill Co/Lee Co fight years ago was a weird thing. I just sat there as the fans were going at it hoping not to get beat up.
