Lee County vs Buckhorn Predictions for 14th All A Championship

Featured Replies

Who do you think will win this game. I think Lee will win a close one. They have very good defense and can score from anywhere. It will be a good game though.

I can't go against Lee in this one. Too many Bobcats. Buckhorn is a good team, but they have little defense. Lee has great offense and great D. Look for a 9 point Lee County win.

I predict Buckhorn doesn't score 97. Lee plays a much tougher defense than what Wolfe put up tonight. Lee is going to win.

Buckhorn really earned my respect and it will take a heck of an effort from my beloved Bobcats, But my heart says Lee 65 Da Horn 55. I hope

I think that they are both really good basketball teams but i think buckhon will pull this one out in a very close game.

Im goin with Buckhorn. Love to see a small school with the big crowds. I believe all of Buckhorn was in Sherman Neace tonight! Go Wildcats!! Wildcats by 3.

Buckhorn - 61

Lee Co. - 57

If Buckhorn plays with the intensity and HUSTLE like tonight, Josh Riley and Zack Gay steps up big again and handles Lees pressure then Buckhorn will take home (I believe) their first All A Championship. I can't believe how Riley has stepped up since transfering back from Owsley. Noone knew who he was before last year and now hes knocking down big shots in big games. One of if not the most improved player in the region.

This game will be a great one without question, two good teams and only one trophy.Either team will represent the 14th well during state tournament.

I CAN'T WAIT

Buckhorn has won the All A region at least twice before, that I'm aware of.

If Lee County's defensive intensity is what it was last night, look out. The Wolves played no D and neither did Buckhorn. That won't be the case tonight I believe.

I'm not going to make a prediction on this game, but if Lee County plays the same tough man to man D that they played against Owsley County, well....for one thing, there will not be 97 points scored. But Buckhorn is a lot better balanced team in their offense than Owsley. They can come at you with a multitude of scorers...but so can Lee County. And Lee has some size and bulk to match up with Buckhorns's front court of Gay (6'6), Riley (6'4), and Abner (he's nicknamed the Diesel). Lee has Rich (6'4), the two Lisegangs (6'2 with bulk), and Fetters (I don't know his height but he has some grasshopper-like spring in his jump). And Lee's Brandenburg and Buckhorn's Davidson are solid outside shooters. In addition, both teams have depth.

This should be a great game.
