Trigg Co. 115 Providence 32

Could this score be correct? Saw it on Riherds tonight.

I know Providence is a very little school. One of the asst. principals at our school graduated from there. There is no reason to do that to anyone.

Looks like they'll have 4 days to make improvements, they play on the 31st of the month.

:scared: :scared:

:fight: Sad sad sad. Man, Trigg, take it easy. Classless. :fight:

The score was incorrect. I fixed it to the right final score of 115-32. Providence played without their leading scorer. Trigg never pressed and hit 11/14 3-pointers. No starter played past the third quarter as Trigg hit 59-percent from the field.

Once again, it is amazing how people comment on 'running up the score' when

they weren't at the game and have no facts.

Trigg plays University Heights in the finals of the Second Region All-A tomorrow.

C'mon now. At 155, I think "running up the score" is a fair assumption, sight unseen.

Holy smokes....

I'll give you that but all the information I have on this one says at 115-32 -- the score wasn't run up.

There is no shot clock in high school. You cannot beat a team by 83 points and expect not to be accused of running the score up. If a team has a substantial lead at halftime, then they can certainly run the score up by allowing their starters to step on the floor in the second half. There is no excuse for a coach allowing his team to run up a winning margin like this one.

The score wasn't run up. Trigg never pressed and they played a zone the entire game. No one played more than 20 minutes in this one. When one team shoots 59-percent and the other team shoots 23-percent, this kind of game will happen. When one team outrebounds the other 56-26, this kind of game will happen. You can't tell the J.V. team to go in try not to score. It goes against everything you work on in practice.

...exactly and some times teams, which lack talent to play on both ends...will have games like this, when they play teams who can and are good.

Big of them not to press while winning by 83--Not very classy!! Porbably will have a few rooting for UHA tomorrow!!
