Who do you think makes there team click and looks good doing it?

Hicks from Hazard and 8th grader Cox from June Buchanan are two good ones....

Cody Gilbert without question and close behind him would have to be Quentin Morgan.

I wouldnt say Cody Gilbert without a question. His team hasnt won but 3 games. So does he make his team click? If this was the case id put that new kid from Owsley as the best player in the 14th. He's played in 5 games and has already won just as many.

Smith from Owsley is a very good player...Hes making his team a lot better.

Do you know Smiths stats' for this season & who all has Owsley played since he has been back?

Robert Smith is playing well for Owsley he is averaging around 20+ points a game in the five games he has played since returning. He showed rust in his first games agianst Lee and Estill County yet still had over 20 points. In the last three games agianst Powell County, South Floyd he has stepped it up and is playing alot better. He did foul out agianst hazard but still managed 14 points. He is close to averaging a double double and before the seasons end he will be one of the top 5 players in the 14th region.

Tyler Rich from Lee County and Gilbert from Wolfe should also be mentioned as a couple the top players of the year.

Cody Gilbert. He is a man among boys in the 14th.

Hicks from Hazard and Bailey from PCC. If these guys are shooting well their team is hard to beat.

Cody Gilbert is good. The last few years he has been a shut down defender, as well.

On who?

On who?

No one kid has shut him down. I have seen him play with 2 and 3 defenders on him. No one kid in the 14th can shut him down. The Dixon kid at Estill might have a shot.

Tyler Rich is doing very well this year...He draws so much defense off from our outside shooters and is a very good defender.

On who?

"he has been a shut down defender" This year he has worried more about offense & has taken some plays off on defense. But after watching a few games last year & the year before, he can play defense. He is one of the better "on the ball" defenders that I have seen in a while (that is when he decides too). he can get really low & cause havic to the opposing guards.

Robert Smith hands down. He has made Owsley a competitive team. Gilbert is good no doubt. Smith is an all around player and floor leader.
