Did anyone see Gilberts game against buckhorn??? He turned into kobe bryant for about a 5 minute stretch. cutting buckhorns lead from 20 to 7. Wolves defense was just terrible-97 points against!!!

I saw it, a heck of a performance I thought.

Gilbert is the BEST player in the 14th. He can be Kobe Bryant and Jason Kidd like when he needs to.

I have talked to Cody numerous times and found him to be a polite and well mannered young man off the floor. He does play with passion and heart and sometimes loses control of his emotions but my goodness he is a teenager. I can not imagine how any one can think he is not the best overall player in the region. I am not from Wolfe County but I recognize talent when I see it. Cody is got it.

Yes, I watched the whole game from the front row. Cody was letting his teammates get going early but Stamper was cold and Crowe was in foul trouble. Glen Bush hit a couple of shots but it seemed like everyone was waiting on Cody to get things rolling and boy he sure carried his end. this team is underperforming and Robert Scott needs to fix the problems. For now I would have to say Bailey is the best player I have seen in the 14th, however I have not watched Gilbert. I plan on watching him tonight against Buckhorn in the all a.

After watching Gilbert play last night against Buckhorn, I believe he is the best in the region. Gilbert is a great player.

funny how my last post was deleted for referring to a site that ranks the top 100 players in the state.

hicks has more knowledge of the game than most 14th region players will ever have, plus he can shoot the lights out and has the ability to drive and find open shooters. there is a site that ranks ky players that have college recruiting abilities and gilbert, hicks, and stepp are mentioned there.

If you are looking at talent and nothin else, the Gilbert is the BEST in the region hands down , there is not any player that could compare to him, he is an ox!

Robert Smith hands down. He has made Owsley a competitive team. Gilbert is good no doubt. Smith is an all around player and floor leader.

I have watched Smith play, and i don't see how anyone can cpmpare him to Cody Gilbert, or to the top ten players in the region at that. He is good, but not top in the region.
