No one kid has shut him down. I have seen him play with 2 and 3 defenders on him. No one kid in the 14th can shut him down. The Dixon kid at Estill might have a shot.

I was at that game and they double teamed him more than he was guarded one on one the entire night. Until I see someone step up I still think he is the best in the region.

I agree with UK4Life and Kids Fan that Giolbert is the best player in the 14th region. I am not knocking anyone else though, because there is tons of talent in the region I just think he is the best. The fact that his team struggles allows other teams to double and triple team him so he has to work twice as hard as players on good team because the help they have keeps other teams honest. I do also agree that GIlbert can defend but like UK4life said it is only when he wants too. Plus Gilbert is the only player in the state I believe to be in the top ten in both ppg and rpg. There is plenty of talent this year in the 14th I just believe that Gilbert has seperated himself from the pack.

How good is the Stepp kid from JBS??

He is really good ball player but shoots his arm off. IMO

Gilbert,Stepp are in a league above everyone else. Smith is a good player but not even close to these two. Rich from Lee helps his team win probaly better than most others because of the defense he draws.
