Lee Co. 60 Owsley 39

Featured Replies

Wow...never in doubt. The whole team came up big. Owsley was outmatched and could not handle either the offense or defense of Lee. Smith had a good 2nd half for OC but not good enough. Neeley had a defender all over him all night and was a non factor.

Here are the scores Lee County- Brandenburg 17, Rich 15, Fetters 12, Taulbee 3, Johnson 6, D. Liesegang 4, J Liesegang 3 = 60

Owsley Co- Smith 21, Neeley 9, Congleton 6, Bowling 2, Wright 1, Wilson 1 = 39

WOW, that is impressive for the Bobcats! Congrats! Now, see if they can whip up on Wolfe/Buckhorn and represent the 14th region well at the All "A". When is the Championship game played? 6pm tomorrow??

I listened to this game on the radio and, well, reception was shoddy for me, but, ahem, Learker let me ask you this; was this when it counted or do you still give Lee County no credit. This game was never in doubt. Owsley cannot match up with the Bobcats. Every starter scored for the bobcats and Owsley had only 1 player over 9. I hate to be like this, I really do, but I TOLD YOU SO!! :D j/k

Now, that being said, congratulations to Owsley for beating a very good JBS team and at least getting to the semis. I have seen drastic improvement in your team. But, I just think Lee has your number this year. Keep your heads up though.

Take a chill pill Ronnie, no need to rub it in. We are happy with the win and, thanks sixtyfeetsix for the congrats. We want badly to represent our district well.

Anytime you can beat a decent team three times in a season. you have accomplished a lot! Lee County has definately impressed me, and I fell they deserve the 14th region All A champs title. Just one more game to go! Unless a major breakdown occurs, the All A title will be a reality.

Does Lee have many seniors on this years team?

Only 3. Tyler Rich, Weatherspoon, and Taulbee.

Looks like it will be rough for the 56th district teams again next year. Gotta run! c-ya all

Yeah, the Bobcats have several returning Juniors.

 Congrats to the Bobcats... thought it woudl be much closer.

At least Robert played good. Good win for Lee and good luck.

Yeah, it was never in doubt as Owsley scored only 3 in the first quarter. Lee played great D again tonight. Smith played good, but forced too many shots again. Seemed like he and Neeley kinda fought over who was gonna shoot.

Always keep up with the Lee Co team. in-laws and all... :D

Hope they go on and win the All A :thumb: would love to see them play in Richmond!!
