Morgan played reserves 4th quarter. Could have easily scored 100+ if they had wanted.

LOL, Wolfe has been struggling on the defensive side.

Morgan should be number 2 in the mountains. They are the best team I have seen this year. They have good size, great speed, top tier defense, and a superb coaching staff, they should go far. I thought Wolfe played better in the second half, they calmed down and tried to run an offense at least. Their defense was alot better in the second half after being nonexistent in the first. Morgan played an excellent game, Blake is a super basketball player and the rest of his team is good too. Haney played well tonight too. Great effort on the defensive end too MC. As the score indicates, this was a very easy win for Morgan tonight. Wolfe looks very imposing in warmups but that is the extent of it. This is the first time I've seen them play but I will simply say that there wasn't any intensity or emotion from Wolfe whatsoever. Add to that terrible chemistry with no offensive sets, just give it to Cody and everybody get out of the way. Blake and Kat could pretty much do anything they wanted all night feeding each other for open layups all night. Morgan definately called off the dogs in this one for good reason. Congrats to Coach Perry and all the guys on the W. :thumb:

Blake had a sensational game today. They were just feeding to him, and he was putting them up! Good job COUGARS!

How did the won transfers do for Wolfe, all I hear is Gilbert, aernt they helping any or are did they just transfer in to pass the ball to Gilbert then go get a drink of water because they sure aernt running back down the floor and playing any defense?

Is McCowan a transfer or has he always been there?

Cougars had 24 assists on the night. Cougars also shot layups and connected on well over 60% from the field.

 

Morgan was more diliberate in the 2nd half and played a variety of combinations.

 

I thought Derrick Young and Wes Montgomery (Whichever was in the game at that time) did a great job on Cody Gilbert. Their pressure was excellent and Montgomery took 3 charges on the night.

 

Best of luck to Cody Gilbert and the rest of the crew at WC. They have some talent and offensively should give teams fits down the stretch.
