Had a good defense 3 yrs. ago. I don't think he played Bell and Rock at Berea. Clay has had a super off. the last 3 years but have struggled against Bell and Rock. The defense always seems to get the blame but if you check the scores against those guys, the offense didn't do anything either. A passing off. will put a young def. into some bad situations. From what I hear, their def. will be much better this year; they lost almost no one. Defense wins championships. Ask SkinPig.:thumb:

From what I have been told there are two new assistants. William Blair, who played at Rockcastle and Coach Napier's son, Evan, who played at Clay Co. They will mainly work with Coach Napier, the old one, who is the def. co-ord. Coach G will coach the D-line. Clay could be much improved defensively from what I hear. Coach Bradshaw is no longer coaching.

Coming off a 2-8 season. The coach resigning to be an assistant in Lexington and to benefit his family, what does this say about the job?

Not many applicants. The job is being offered from what I hear to 2 or 3 people. I just don't know who the southeastern guy is. Who is it?

What ever happened to that boy who played 8th grade qb a couple of seasons ago? I thought he was a pretty talented young athlete. Seems like his name was Nickels or Nicklsen. Has he been lifting?
