What's happened to Clay County in the last two years?

Clay seemed a little out of sorts. They are much better than they played tonight. Williamsburg's pitching was excellent. Witt performed well on the mound.

The Jackets could be a real darkhorse contender this season.They have played well early.

He has had a low pitch count. The coach took him out in the Wayne game when he got near 80 pitches. He pitched Monday and Friday and they will not play again until Wednesday. He has not giving up any runs and few base runners.

I think that Clay should be back on the rise. Over the past few years Clay had a coach whose primary interest was not baseball. Clay has a new coach, with new enthusiasm and loads of young talent. Look for Clay baseball to be on the rise.
