  1. Congrats coach on winning, I've been humbled by your superiority. Good luck next week, you are going to need it. I hope you pull it out, was that classy enough for you?
  2. The big guns will likely carry blanks next week, but I must concede, nice win this week.
  3. I hope you two meet next week too. Both of you mert in Warsaw and then you can sit together in the stands, while you watch the Wildcats beat the Warriors. Don't worry, we will still honor your coaches cards to get in for free.
  4. You call Bracken Co, Owen Co, and Casey Co solid teams. They have a combined records of 5-25. Real solid teams.:sssh:
  5. If by fluke you mean completely controling the entire game on both sides of the ball then yes the first game was a fluke.:irked:
  6. # 1 Classy move of the night. Let's send the whole team out on the field after we scored a touchdown. Act like you have been there before, or like that TD really ment something. #2 Have you followed Gallatin County any this year? If you had, then you would have known that the QB that started for that game was not the normal starter. If he has to play next week, because we did make the playoffs, he needs every look he can get at a different team. It is not like he went in and it was 50-0, and you had your JV in the game. Heck if we put in our JV, he is the QB.
  7. Maybe the coaches should just cancel practice and let everybody play....How would everybody react then, would they say that the coaches don't care about winning, or should the coaches stand behind the rules that they have set forth for everyone to follow. People make decisions everyday, and they must live with those decisions. If the decision is to not come to practice the day before one of the biggest games of the year, then they must willingly take that punishment, school event or no school event. This is a lose-lose situation for everybody involved, lets just hope that it doesn't translate to a loss on the field.
  8. At what point in life do we teach kids that there are consequences for your actions? If you are told that if you go to this and miss practice, you will sit out, then there must be that consequence. Otherwise we are saying to the kids that it is ok to miss, no matter what we tell you, and that you will still be playing. If my boss tells me that I would be fired if I missed work, then I would not miss, because I have made a commitment to my family and my work place. Much like these young gentlemen knew if they chose to go to the FFA event, they would have to sit out. Like the oldballcoach said, they made a commitment to their football family, the program and themselves on July 15. STAY STRONG COACH BROWNING!!!!
  9. It is hurting basketball to an extent. We will get our whole team 4 days of practice before playing Scott County in the season opener. How is that fair to schools that rely on kids that play more than one sport?
  10. I would like to wish him a fast recovery and hope that still plays at the next level. How did the injury happen? Was it on a tackle, run?
  11. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
  12. Like the teams in our district?
  13. How much do you know about Class A football? Evarts was ranked in the top ten pre-season amongst class A schools. Is it Gallatin's fault that they aren't meeting those expectations. Maybe we should wait until everybody has played 5 or 6 games before we make our schedule to appease the fans from schools that we have already beat.
  14. If " if's and buts were candy and nuts everybody would have a merry Christmas." Gallatin plays who ever is on their schedule.... end of story. You can't argue with results.
  15. Shizzle.......Interesting
  16. Has South Oldham ever had a transfer? Another example of a big school fan not being able to accept anybody transferring somewhere else to play.
  17. How many games of Gallatin's did you see last year? Scoring was balanced almost every game.
  18. Looks like several Class A schools owned them last year, are they gonna be any better?
  19. Welch is a great athlete. This team could surprise some people.
  20. My wife works in the Gallatin school district and I do not believe he has officially transferred. This may just be a rumor.
  21. That is the day Pearl Harbor was bombed, D-Day is June 6. Best of Luck coach.
