Does staying in the Hotel or travelling up the day of make a difference to any team? Travel distance might encourage some teams to travel. ST. X, T obviously don't have to. Are there any teams this year that will stay? Will any teams "go college" and stay in the Hotel, even though it may not be neccessary due to travel?

Later on in that same game, Lone Oak had another bad snap. He let that one go, and quickly threw his hands up if to say..."I AIN'T TOUCHIN' THAT ONE!"

Will be interesting to see if they hire from within, or venture outside.

Congrats LCA. Maybe the infantile stage of a Lexington Trinity/St.X model with Lexington Catholic. No public-private issue meant by this post; just might like to see LC and LCA become powerful, and develop the rilvary some more.

19-14 win by Catholic; don't sell em short. 2005 Catholic lost to X by a last second field goal, and played close to Trinity in the second scrimage.

Last game ever at the Hilltop. Emotions will ride high. Might even be nickel hot dog night!

They've got a state title, Coach Hilton has won over 300 games, great pride in the program, and it would just be cool to see a sign that BIG.

Great atmosphere for a friday night high school football game. Great crowd on both sides. It'd be cool if someone could make a gi-nourmous sign to put on the rock facade to the right of the field to tout the achomplishments of the program.

Any other schools with long road trips doing this?

I hated under the old system that some districts were so unequal. One team had 7 district games, while others had 3. I like being able to have more choice of games in the regular season(although some schools had more trouble than others filling thier schedule). As for the playoffs, I hate playing in district the first two rounds.

IF JC were required to forfiet district games (based on the ruling), am I correct that they would be the 4 seed in the district. Is there a deadline, which after the ruling would have no bearing on seeding? For example if the deadline is Saturday night, and no ruling made until Monday, would JC recive the 2 seed, even though they would have the 4th best record? Am I making sense?

I say bad because of the political cry that will come down on the KHSAA, and the schools that host. Even if the decisions were fairly made, cries of favortism, and worse are a possibility that I dont think an orginization that doesn't have the best of PR needs to deal with anytime soon.

I think it is a bad idea to have any High School championship game, tournament, ect. at any High School facility. If it was feasible to have it at four college campuses that could handle the games, then I would have no problem.

I agree, although for personal reasons, I would love for UK to get field turf in Commonwealth and be able to have the finals there.

They have the same base plays. The middle school coaches may add a wrinkle, but if they don't run the same offense, the head middle school coach may be out of a job for not doing what Coach Letton wants.
