District game, which one? Semifinal or final?

Cincinnati Elder 1-1. Elder is a team that defeated Cincinnati freshman teams: St. Xavier, Lasalle, and Moeller, considered the 3 top varsity teams in Cincinnati.

Coach Ray always scheduled tough teams, same with just about every CCH schedule. Gotta have a tough road to make you better for the postseason.

The 52nd doesn't appear to be on KHSAA website.

Tyler may be the best of those 3, but will still not be able to keep up with most guards in NKY. He has a semi-consistant jump shot, but has decent ball handling. He's still a year away.

Covington Catholic freshman have been absolutely dominant this season, and should they stay together... could be very scary in a few years. They won the Freshman regional tournament over the weekend, and here are a few stats. Keep in mind these are freshmen. Goals for - 62 Goals against - 3 Record - 16-0-1 GPG averages For - 3.64 Against - .17 They have also scored within the first 10 minutes of a game 11 different times and have 14 shutouts. Never giving up more than 1 goal in any game. Definition of dominance.

Seeing at how PRP just got smacked, I'll take St. X by about 3 TDs.

Potential is the only reason I see that for CCH, Lampl is the only junior and below on this list. Grimes, Roll, Bondick, Schmerge, and others are far better than Lampl right now, but if it's potential... then it's easier to understand, but still confusing.

I would say that for offense, Brossart is at the top alone this year.

What has happened to CovCath golf? When I went to school there getting 4th place in state was considered subpar. We went 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 5th (Volpenhein was injured - one of the best senior golfers in the nation). Seems that CCH golf is not the power it once was.

Last season, I believe it was, someone brought up that someone against JC should not have run up the score and I brought up this game, and I said that I have no sympathy for anyone who runs up the score on this school in any sport. Classless - true definition.

I went to a handful of volleyball games last year, and Nicole was always one of the favorites to watch because while not being overdominantly tall, she has a huge vertical, and can smash the ball. As for D1... I would think height would come in to play, but who knows.

Joe C, football player from CCH is pretty fast, and I'm assuming he runs again this year.

But you cannot stop the game in the middle of an attack is that correct? BTW, 3 of the top 5 teams in the state reside in the same region. Notre Dame, Highlands, and NewCath, at 2,3, and 5 respectively. Also Bishop Brossart is ranked 21 right now. Loaded region anyone?

I really didn't think Eifert was that tall, he must have been a lot taller than I thought.

Not too sure, I don't follow volleyball, but I would guess many top players would be from NDA and SHDHS. What about Nicole Staverman from NDA? Is she getting more pt this year?

I don't think Eifert is close to 6'6" unless he has shot up over the summer about 3 or so inches.

I'll say CCH and Holmes at the top with somewhat of a gap after that. Dark horse could be Holy Cross. All three of the teams are from the 35th. Also potentially Boone and Ryle could make noise.
