I saw this thread in another forum, thought I'd give it a shot here.

How about consecutive home wins: Clay County 119 :scared: :scared:

That was from '84 to '93.

How about?

1992

Most points scored:

Jackson City: 215

Woodbridge Academy: 28

Most state championships:

Lafayette: 6

Henry Clay: 6

Is that 215 pts in one game? If it is thats unbelievable. How is that even possible? How can you score 50 plus each quarter?

It's true something like 41 3-point attemps in that game. Good thing they called off the dogs. :bunny:

Woodbridge only had 6 players, and one of them was injured or crippled, I believe. Basicly Jackson City's coach at that time just poured it on and ran the score up on a pitiful team. I know some of the players that played at Jackson at that time. They said they asked the coach to put in subs and call the dogs off, but he told them he was going for the state record and they'd better not lay down on him. That's a sorry, sad thing for an adult to do to a group of young kids imo.

Last season, I believe it was, someone brought up that someone against JC should not have run up the score and I brought up this game, and I said that I have no sympathy for anyone who runs up the score on this school in any sport. Classless - true definition.

Where is Woodbridge Academy??

I have a friend who played on that JC team, I believe he scored a whopping 12 points, I think he said they had two go for 60+, they also scored 180 against MMI, and they made 41 threes, I believe they hoisted close to 100 during the WA game.
