Top 34th district

Featured Replies

With alot of players coming back in the 34th district who will come out on top this year? and what juniors will have break out years

34th is the weakest district in the 9th Region. Dixie is even down compared to last few years. They still will win the 34th, but that is just by default. The district is a joke.

:thumb: 34th is terrible! Dixie is going to be down this year and they will still have a trip to the regional. Dixie should never lose this district. When they redid the districts Dixie was given the biggest gift in NKy BB.

Dixie lost Keener and Sam Lawson. Dixie has no one, I mean no one to replace them.

Please don't come back and say they have Shields, Moser, Simpson, or Richardson. These players are average at best.

I just don't see anyone on the current roster that can replace what Lawson or Keener did for that team. Both of those guys were very good high school players.

I think Dixie has some very good talent "down on the farm", but think they are a year away from being serious regional contenders.

Your right Lawson and Keener are big losses, but i wouldn't say they got nobody to replace them. And i'm not gonna mention the players you named but I will throw Kyle Kendall, Eflin Tyler, and Luke Mace name out their. Their gonna go through some growing pains but as the season goes these 3 will get better. Dixie has potential to be pretty big this year, so I guess we won't be seeing that 5 guard offense. Truthfully, their a year away.

Tyler may be the best of those 3, but will still not be able to keep up with most guards in NKY. He has a semi-consistant jump shot, but has decent ball handling. He's still a year away.

Although their district is very easy, the biggest gift in NKY from the new districts had to be given to Simon Kenton, even though they left the 9th, they have possibly the easiest road to district champs in the state... That said, Dixie has some solid young talent, but I think that they are a year away from being a contender.

The only one worth saying is Kyle Kendall. Eflin Tyler is ALL left handed and to SOFT and the other kid hasn't seen quality time if you add up both of the last two years. Just because he's 6'8" does not mean that he is a good player or will be.
