I knew Pikeville was good at the skilled positions, but I wouldn't have put them ahead of Raceland. I'm not disputing what you just said, I just wasn't aware of that.

I hear what your saying, and I agree, except for the fact that BC "upset" Russell 2 years ago. At that time was it an upset? It turned out to be Russell's only loss but I believe it was only the 3rd game of the season and it was at BC. After the season was over, one could say that BC upset Russel, but not at the time. JMO

Actually not a bad week to have an off week...An opportunity to let this win soak in, A chance to work on some things that didn't go their way, a chance to dodge some more heat and prepare for the rest of the season.

RR- you are correct and insane is a good adjective. It use to be any boys born in Massilon were given a tiger football as their first gift as being born. I'm not sure if thats still the practice. Also to your 2nd point, I agree that it isn't always good either. I've seen multiple examples where it interferes with other school activities IE basketball.

78- what type of offense do they run, obviously they intend on passing a lot, but do they run a spread like OC did 2 years ago?

^I do think population has a part in the equation but not as big as 1-emphasis from community 2-priority from community and school administration 3-Money 4-Involvement from entire school and community IE= boosters Just to name a few. Now to continue Ram's point of view, I can name various schools in Ohio that aren't around a major metropolitan area that are extremely successful year in and year out. I know these communities very well and it is the amount of emphasis that is placed on football from a very early age and continuing on up to highschool.
