A bit of a surprise to me; will the Raiders be making some noise in the district this year?

Pathetic game. East's numerous penalties versus Boyd's 6 turnovers. East had 0 turnovers which got them the victory.

anything but a snoozer...very exciting game. Boyd had a touchdown called back on penalty in the first half. East had an interception returned inside the 5 which was called back due to penalty of some sort. Boyd had lots of turnovers as mentioned. Hard hitting game! Would put the contact level up with anyone. Lots of pads popping for sure. Both offenses look to be "finding themselves" and were far behind the agressive defense of both teams. I enjoyed the game tremendously because both teams looked to be playing hard, hitting hard and having a good time. Win or lose, it's tough to ask for more than that.

Congrats to East Carter players and coaching staff. This was an exciting game. Truly a defensive standoff by both teams.

Truly, surprising to me. I thought, with the hype, that this would be an offensive shoot out. East and Boyd have been talked about a lot as far as the offense goes.

As I have stated before, unless Boyd gets an offensive line established and utilizes their big linemen (I saw several over 6 fters, standing on the sidelines), they won't be going very far. Boyd has some of the best skilled players around but, I will say it again, "you win or lose by your line."
