No they don't. But they do worry about Polar Bears though, LOL.

They get to play their home games on the beach. That's pretty sweet.

The top of Alaska is called the North Slope, which basically describes that the land slopes down into the Arctic Ocean. There aren't many flat spots in that area and the school chose this one, simply because it was flat! Its probably pretty accessible, too:

 

"Drive toward the ocean. If your car is wet, you went too far!"

I guess they don't have to worry about the heat index...
