Beechwood held bellevue high octane offense to 22 points so you think ludlow defense is as good as beechwood?

Beechwood has a really good football team that is very well coached and have a ton of and talent and tradition. The Bellevue kids play very hard(proably have over achieve this year) and never give up. Bellevue has played several good teams this year and have lost a lot of really close games that people thought they would get killed by, riding 3 hours to Fairview (defending class A state runner up) and scored 50 points and still lost by 12. Lost by 1 to a good Walton team and 2 loses by 6 to Holmes and the best team that Gallatin County has ever had. Hopefully during the playoffs Bellevue can learn from these close loses and pull out some of these close games and get back to playing Beechwood in the regional finals and clean up some of the mistakes they made last week and give Beechwood a better game. GO BLACK AND GOLD TIGERS!!!!!!

Hammered??? A 6point game is hammered? Bellevue had 624 yards to Holmes 400. I would not call that hammered. Maybe poor exacution in the red zone but not hammered.

This game may last 4 hours, Bellevue has had 3 games go over 3 hours this year.

Bellevue has 25 players including freshmen and Holmes has 56 on their roster so if they 6 out that leaves them with 52 that twice as mant as Bellevue. Don't know if you noticed Bellevue star RB Dylan Huff played very little on offense in the game because he was very ill. Kudos to him for sucking it up and giving him all he could. Officials were peewee, hit that they called head to head contact was terrible as film shows, but they didn't call the head to head contact when Holmes player (who I will not mention his name or number) lowered his head and got a 10 yard run and hit Bellevue player at the 5 yard line, that film shows. There was penalties not called that could and did get players hurt and affected the outcome of the game. If the game "went on and on and on" why didn't you just leave? As far as Holmes was in complete control the entire game Bellevue had 624 yards to Holmes little over 400. Scruggs is a great back and Coach Nevels is a good guy and is doing a good job.

Don't know if he is the best, but I know who has improved the most from the start of the year until now. Tyler Ackerson of Bellevue hands down. Tyler was a wing T QB that handed the ball off every play for the last two years. Tonight against Holmes he threw for over 400 yards and had 150 yards rushing.

Bellevue is no Highlands, but they are no doormat either. They are ranked just outside or in some polls of the top10 in class A. Go Tigers!!!!!!

Bourbon county adminstration is the biggest joke in the state . Don't know why anyone would want to coach teach send a kid to that school system. It is proven to happen in every sport there. Every coach always has to be watching for the knife coming in the back. And that's a fact JACK!!!

Nausbaum had one scoring play from the one yard line after a int was ran back to the one yard line. Some one was keeping stats and said that the west had 70 total yards at the half and had 24 points. Score was 24 -7 in the 4th and the west scored in a couple late in the 4th. Hard to get timing down between QB and WR in 3 days.

And that adminstration. Got some good kids there. Best of luck tothe new coach. A good piece of advice: keep one eye looking over your shoulder for the knife.:eek:

People ask why so much turnover at Bourbon County. The problem is the adminstration, from the superintendent on down. No coach is going to stay around there and get treated like trash by that adminstration. The people of Bourbon need to stand up for their kids and get the problem out of there. Its a shame for the kids of Bourbon.

They should go with Billy Martin. He is an experienced Head Coach that is a winner. He was won everywhere he has been. He is also a Henderson Alumni.

Will everyone please remember long time Rockcastle County Coach Tony Saylor in your prayers. Coach Saylor was trampled Friday evening by a cow while working on his farm. Coach Saylor has several broken ribs many of which are broken in multiple places as well as a crushed collar bone. There was also internal bleeding, but they have got that under control. He was airlifted to UK hospital. Coach Saylor is a great football coach and has helped many kids over the years, but is an even better person. We thank God for looking out after our Coach as this could have been much worse.

Who got caught cheating?

Dudley Hilton, He did more with less than anyone around. To me that is a sign of a good coach. Some more really good ones: Phillip Haywood, Mike Holcomb and Tom Larkey.
