Shout out to the Bellevue defense on stopping Ludlow on 1st and goal from the 7 yard line with less than 2 minutes to go to wrap up the win. Also good job by Zach Barrett chasing down the receiver on the big pass play to give the defense a chance to do their thing. GO TIGERS!!!!!

Bellevue does not play freshman or JV. Bellevue had 14 players that could safely play in the game at the end of the game. Just a FYI.

The game was scheduled to be played Thursday June 5th, then when the snow came the NKFCA changed the date in April and players from Bellevue, and Brossart had already made plans and send in deposits to go on trips together. The Bellevue kids left on Friday June 6th. Bellevue kids were looking forward to play in the game.

If the basketball team and baseball team have enough athletes to be successful during Columbia tenure looks as if the football team could have used those same athletes and had more success than they did. You are helping with my point the last 2 years the basketball team has been down and so was the football team so they must not be many athletes at GRC during those 2 years. I just think GRC football has underachieved for several years under Coach Columbia. JMO

Why would they want to hire someone back that has accomplished very little in his 13 year tenure at GRC? Columbia had 5 winning season out of his 13 years, won 3 playoff games out of the 16 he played and had a 44% winning percentage. During the same time period the boys basketball team won 71% of their games, with 3 regional championships and 4 regional runner ups. Also the baseball team won 70% of their games and had 2 regional titles. Keep doing the same thing you always did and you will continue to get the same thing you always got.
