After reading a few different sites the teams who have supposedly done this are as follows.

Pulaski Co

Middlesboro

Bourbon Co

Madison Southern

McCracken Co

 

Some have Picts of the pract and some don't. One is at trooper island and one in newspaper.

Will khsaa do any investigating or turn a blind eye?

Now is the time it set the precedent if there has ever been a chance.

I think the KHSAA should ban a team for going pads before Aug 1 from any post season playoff and see how many teams are willing to break the rules the next time.

I don't think mountain teams get the publicity they deserve already, so why would you want them banned from the playoffs? :sssh:

If punishment is severe we won't have this discussion next year but I doubt the khsaa has guts to ban post season but it sure would be better than a scrimmage since they get that anyway at camps.

Everytime I passed Boyle County it looked like the players had on shorts but I never stopped nor got close enough to be able to verify. I do believe they leave for Jabez on Saturday.

 

Mercer County went to camp at Campbellsville from Saturday to Tuesday.

We need to hold our horses... I know at least 3 of the teams named in this thread were at a college camp, with college coaches organizing and supervising the drills - though team coaches were participating, as well. We can argue about whether the loophole should exist, but it does exist... Can't punish people if no rules have been broken.

I agree but if the school coaches did coach their kids in a scrimmage with just their kids then that is a rule violation.

How about Madison southern, there is Picts of them practicing full gear with coaches watching.

Will khsaa investigate it or not.

I'm sure the KHSAA won't do anything, every coach should break the rules because apparently there are no one with guts at KHSAA to punish anyone for breaking rules. Might as well start a different Athletic Association.
