Ashland's should have alot of playing time available to inexperienced but soon to be talented players,especially the incoming junior class. This years team may have their struggles early but should be competitive later on in the year.

Looks to be a strong team in an exciting game, hope to be there.

Ahhhh yes, the talk of football in the air. 3high, the talk of Ashland being down this year is a concern. Anytime you lose 18 starters this talk will go on. But as I have said several times since joining BGP, as much as we hate....and....fear to see our seniors leave, someone else will step in and help carry on the storied Tomcat tradition causing us to forget our losses and cheer on those on the field like no others before and I believe this will happen this time as well. I believe that this is the fabric from which the Ashland football program is made from.

This coaching staff will do all of these, I believe. And today was a beautiful day to start practice.

The local influence of this team will be refreshing and should be fun to watch. I hope to make some of their games. :ylsuper:

It was dissappointing to see this. As far as the game it was a great game and Ashland did not fold however after missing 4 or 5 layups that maybe would have made this game not so close. Ashland and it's seniors get to keep playing and hopefully can make it to the state tournament.

Unfortunately this was done in the mid 70's by the UK student section.

Make no doubt, Johnson was a major part of this offense and this team but this might be a little bit of wishful thinking.

That alone can win a lot of close ballgames.
