I'll admit I don't attend many of the boys games, but I was impressed last night with the HHS fan support. The student section was crowded and loud. I even ran into several parents of former students. Unfortunately in the second half there wasn't much to cheer about. NCC played great and took the game over in the second half. I thought HHS really lacked floor leadership. I kept waiting for someone to step up, but it never happened.

I'd recommend North Myrtle Beach, Cherry Grove area to be exact. Great place for families. Spent many summers there when our kids were young.

Both are great, but I'd have to go with Bruce. His songs really take me back in time.

Henry, you bring up a good point. Gold Star has also supported (donated) food for a charity golf outing I've participated in over the past 3 years. For this reason I should amend my vote. They are great supporters of the community.:clap:

I think he's playing the "underdog" card. He did this during the playoffs last season. Believe me, they were athletic, fast and well coached. I don't think that will change this season. If they lacked anything it was a kicking game.

Johnson Central will not surprise anyone. They're going to be very good again! They have very good skilled players back for the 09 season. Many of them were Sophomores and Juniors last year.

I see the backup QB position at HHS next season to be in question. Based on comments tonight, there will be competition at that position. They'll be 3 in the mix for the position next season.

I have a nephew playing at Brossart and loves it. The wins are there yet, but according to him the coaches, players and adminstration are working very hard. The District which they play is challenging to say the least. I know they've begun an off-season team weights program and it's been very successful in regards to the number of players that are showing up. I'd love to see them get their first win this season!!!!
