Somerset's LB Cam Jones had 11 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries in Somerset's Region Championship game. That was the only game I was at on Friday so it's the only defensive nomination I can give you.

I'm so glad he wrote an article about this. Adam is a great kid and has fought through the adversity to defeat this illness. Who say miracles don't happen everyday? When he ran onto the field with the team Friday night, after being in a wheel chair for a year, I had chills. It was very powerful.

Lots of film, yes. I wasn't intending to offend you but if you think NCC will win the game 52-14 then you obviously haven't seen Somerset play this year. Thus my statement.

I think BG will win this pretty easy. 2 or 3 TD's. Central just gave up too many points last week for me to think they can compete any further.

Henderson will win this. Simply because they are better.

He has 1700 yards receiving this year and the record is 1703. He'll get it next week.

Should be a very good game. They have to come to our place this year. Good rematch from last year's semi-finals. Keys to the game for Somerset will be stopping the run. If they can stop the run and force them to throw the ball then they'll be in good shape. I know NCC can throw it also but it isn't their bread and butter like running the football.

By the way, the final on this one was actually 48-21 not 47. The last touchdown by Hazard was scored on the JV's it was close early but Somerset pulled away in the 2nd half. Somerset had 470 yards of total offense. John Cole had 177 yards receiving and a punt return for a touchdown and a rushing touchdown. Deaton had 290 yards passing also.

It should be played on the field that is not being used. 4 games would tear a field up especially in this weather. I'm with you 100% LTW they shouldn't let them use your field.

Not really sure what you mean by that? Somerset High School is a school for the kids that live in the city limits of Somerset.

I think Hazard has a LOT of speed as well. I don't really think speed will be the difference in the game.

Do you think they will single Cole? Everyone else has doubled him in the district/region but it really hasn't worked out too well for them.(Somerset won all those games) Maybe some 1-1 coverage on him would be something Hazard would try.

I hope you're right Hit Somebody! Somerset is taking the playoffs one game at a time though. Trying to reach that ultimate goal.

Yes, I've seen the films now. I posted that Friday night before we were able to get our hands on some film. I saw the Pikeville film. Very conservative in that ballgame.
