Yes! :banana: I think it's the first semi-state to be at Somerset since the 80's.

By the way, the final on this one was actually 48-21 not 47. The last touchdown by Hazard was scored on the JV's it was close early but Somerset pulled away in the 2nd half. Somerset had 470 yards of total offense. John Cole had 177 yards receiving and a punt return for a touchdown and a rushing touchdown. Deaton had 290 yards passing also.

They just showed the TD run by Deaton, and all I can say is WOW!!!! What a great run! It at least deserves a nomination for Play of the Week. Two outstanding jukes before getting outside, then the leaping dive at the pylon!

Hazard you young men deserve the same congratulations!! You guys laid it all out last night. Bright future it looks like with that stud young q.b..

Now Jumpers let's focus on NewCath and do what you have to get to that next step!! You have made all of Somerset and Pulaski Co. proud!!

Ross Deaton, John Cole and Cam Jones are all amazing athletes to watch but Mr. Adam Fleming, you son, are an inspiration to us!!

He has 1700 yards receiving this year and the record is 1703.

Cole and Deaton as good as advertised-good job briarjumpers and goodluck next week.They did a good job picking our secondary apart.I thought our secondary would be up for the challenge.Somerset did a good job getting Cole involved any way possible when intially he wasn't catching the ball.Ithink a lot of coaches should try diff. things with their best players to keep them involved.

Somerset Beat Danville at the Briar Patch in 1988. They went on to play Fort Knox at Cardinal Stadium on the turf. Donny Redd was the great running back for Danville that year ( went on to play for UK). Somerset was in the semi state 3 years in a row 1987, 1988, and 1989. All 3 years there opponent was the Admirals.
