We got a kid to transfer from South Oldham yesterday. If he ends up staying he should be a great addition to the team, but like you all said it will be hard to replace Teddy Thompson.

We've only lost 5 seniors, and are returning a huge junior class and a strong sophomore class. Feel free to share your predictions and thoughts.

Harlan is getting a totally new look for next season. Our school board voted to take black out of the school color, and so we're getting USC's home jersey in white and green stripes, white away pants from nike that look like UofL's, and our helmets are going to look like Alabama's.

NFL: Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Jamal Lewis, and Jerome Bettis all the guys that can issue a big hit!

I think that's what happened with us last year, I was on the side line rooting Jake Anderson on, and then this year it was a big shock trying my best to fill his shoes.

It should be in the papers shortly, today I just saw the All-SEKC team released.

I can absolutely not stand the wing-t offense. Everybody around us runs it: Cawood, Evarts, and Cumberland. I personally prefer our wishbone set any day, but a spread set is best i think, especially if you get the defense to play man-man and have a fast QB to scramble with.

Does anybody have any information/stats on how our seniors from last season did their freshmen season in college this season? :confused:

At Harlan, we don't even have a booster's club or any way to make money, except for the coffee mugs we sell and our annual lift-a-thon! :lol: The sports turf looks great, but I think it takes away from the tradition of highschool football.

We only lose 5 seniors. 3 starters on defense and 5 on offense. (3 of the 5 on offense played both ways.)

We're returning all but Andrew Massingale on the o-line/d-line this year. Junior Aaron Jones (2nd team all-county, 2nd team all-district, all SEKC) returns at center and noseguard, Junior Westley Howard (1st team all-county, 1st team all-district, all SEKC) returns at DT. The offensive line is full of workhorses. Senior Derek Stevenson returns, who had an explosive Junior season. Also Senior Will Pope returns at WR to give the new Junior Chase Jones QB, a target to throw to.

1.) Best overall team:I would go with Trinity. Although St. X has a lot of talent, you still have to give it to them for regrouping after the tail-kicking the tigers gave them earlier in the season. 2.) Biggest pleasant suprise:Russell taking home the gold. 3.) Biggest dissapointment:Ft. Campbell not going further in the play-offs. 4.) Best single game in state:Regular Season: St. X v.s. Lex. Catholic. Play-offs: St. X v.s. Trinity 5.) Best Player: Micha Johnson! 6.) Best coach: Not sure of the name, but I would give it to NCC/Lex. Catholic. 7.) Most interesting/intriguing storyline:The idea of placing the private schools in their own division.

Does anybody know definate picks? Also post some people you see having a chance going D1 this year.

Chase is a great QB with good pocket presence. He has a good arm and I'm possitive he'll have a great year.

That might have something to do with it.
