Has anyone seen this released. Have heard some selections through the grapevine but would like to see the entire selection.

How does Nick Scalf win the QB of the year award over Somerset's Ross Deaton? Just curious because imo, Deaton had a much better year than Scalf.

Sure it has more to with just stats. If that is the case you can make argument for Mefford, Roskopf, Reynolds, and Teddy Thompson for the top running back.

True, i didnt think about it that way.. :D

Still, Deaton was on a passing team, Scalf was on a running team. Somerset's season was decided by how well Deaton peformed and I think Lynn Camp was alright as long as their running back's were intact. Congrats to both players though on a great year.

You can take what I put in bold that you said, and put Newell's name in place of Deaton, and place any of the backs I mentioned in for Scalf. Nick was a very capable qb, it shouldn't be his fault of the style of offense his is in, and the same for Scott Newell for that matter. Both made big plays for there teams when called upon, and I think that is part of the reason they were awarded.

Still when talking about stats Deaton's numbers imo are still better plus anyone who can lead their team to a District, region, and state semi section berth is way better thats just me congradts to all who made it
