I think Pineville is good enough to keep this close for awhile, but Paintsville pulls away late.

According to the brackets, Morgan Co. won the East KY MS Conference...not sure who that includes. Their 8th grade was 15-0 and 7th was 9-1. They play the double wing like Estill Co. HS and are very effective at it.

After watching two almost identically uniformed teams Friday, I have a question out of curiosity...Are there any other "kelly" green (not the darker, forest Michigan State/Trinity green) teams in Kentucky besides Jenkins and Harlan?

In case I was not clear enough before, I will go on record that Harlan will win at home this Friday against Jenkins. If in Vegas, not that I would consider such, but I would give Jenkins and 13 points.

I agree with D-Slayer and actually wouldn't be surprised to see Harlan win their home playoff game against a 3 seed like Allen Central from District 8.

That's the beauty of the six class system with so many four team districts where everyone makes the playoffs. Even 0-10 gets you in the playoffs, and as long as you are better than two of the other teams in your district, you are a #2 seed hosting a playoff game. Harlan is definitely not the first and won't be the last.

Not to be off topic, but does Leslie have injuries or was there a lot of graduation from last season? McCreary was favored but Leslie has really struggled this year. Can anyone fill me in on the state of the program?

I'm expect LC to hang tough and then be a surprise lower seed come playoff time.
