Rockets 28 to 6 over the Eagles, It was much worse then the score. The Eagle fans can thank the weather for the score. Ricco Brown can fly but if you can't get past the line of scrimage speed is not much help.

Despite the bad weather, the Rock ran over top of Southern once again. It was a Casey Hayes show. A lot of turn-overs by the Rock, but hopefully because of the bad weather. The score was capable of being a lot worse.

How did they score their TD? Just asking because it would seem difficult to score if you only had 11 yards of total offense unless it was special teams or the defense that scored, so I am curious!

Best of luck to Madison Southern this next week with Harrison County. Gonna have to turn up the nasty on the offensive line to get some points fellas. Rico can't be your only option, because all of the defenses just key on him. Find some heart in the trenches to free him up and the wins will follow. Your defensive stands in the red zone this last week with Rockcastle, even though the weather may have had something to do with it, were still impressive. Play hard!!

Yes, Mt. Vernon did win the game, but it wasn't dominating as some of you say. Rockcastle needs better play from their QB. Southern's defense held Bishop to under 30 yards and picked him off once. Nice win for you guys, but this is not a very tough team.
